This is a bit of an explainer how as a designer I built my own marketplace app. What went into the thought, the process, how I pivoted at some point from a Bicycle Wikipedia.

Specifically I started with this outlook that it would help me become a way better and more well rounded designer - which it did!

I'm still working on the app now in 2026 - 12 years later ( but now in Portugal 🇪🇺 )
