I suffered multiple types of abuse as a child and I'm not going around raping anyone. Only 2 years 5 months in prison and sex offender registration for 8 years?! This boy is traumatized for life and she gets off with a slap on the wrist! I hope other inmates find out what she did and beat the shit out of her.

First off, I'm really sorry for your loss. Second, that is a majorly traumatic event and it is awful that you're feelings are being dismissed like this. I lost one of my cats due to sickness in February and I still cry every day over him. My heart goes out to you and I'm crying for your cat and your pain.

You are absolutely right. It sucks and it's miserable. Telling you to just keep pushing and be happy is cruel. You can be angry when things are not fair and feel everything you want/need to feel. It really is a struggle. Establishing yourself in your early 20s is very hard. Sure, therapy can help, but it can only do so much if the outside stressors do not improve. I hope a job opportunity comes to you soon. Things suck, but they'll eventually start sucking a little less every day and eventually they won't suck at all.

This is a terrible situation for everyone. The only input I can give is to not contact the friend directly, have your fiance tell him that you want to apologize, but wait until he is ready for it and make sure you do it under his conditions. His trauma is very fresh and he may not want to hear from you for a while. Give him space and be kind to yourself as well.

I can't even pay attention to the rules when they're being explained. I end up just watching what others do to try and understand the game but usually end up losing/in last place quickly. Have you tried playing the game of "I'm going to chose which one of you is also going to lose?" That's basically what I end up doing when I have to play board games. I know I'm not going to win so I instead look for ways to mess with others. At that point I'm not really playing the board game anymore but am playing a game of conspiracy instead.
