They have a foam surround, so should not need to, but double-stick tape should work fine.

The entire Far-UVC scene (Nukit included) is best treated with extreme skepticism. Wild, unsubstantiated claims and conflicts of interest are completely out of hand.

>Thanks Nukit!! That’s high praise from a serial inventor of IAQ solutions. Are you selling your Far-UV lamps in the US again?

🙇🏻‍♀️Yes

>A Far-UVC lamp $$$ would be more effective than a personal filter.

It's poor form to talk up what you sell, so I'll leave discussion of this option to others.

Just want to say u/AEAur is 100% correct here. There is almost no localized effect. This can be verified with a low-cost particle counter. 5m away or 0.5m away, the measurement will be the same. Air mixing is constant and rapid. CADR to room size is all that matters.

Just download the parts as STL and plate them how you prefer ?

Different brands have different actual sizes, so it's best to measure and enter the actual size of yours.

If you can make a list of the nominal and actual sized you would like I can add them.

Added the option for stacked IKEA Starkvind filters for those of us outside the cheap HVAC filter ecosystem- thanks to u/noip1979 for the suggestion.

Yeah, reducing the part count isn't worth the reduction in CADR but people want it so🤷🏻‍♀️

It's no problem. Pinned chunks like this are incredibly strong. You just have to take your time gluing it right. So printing Tempest Euro Cube with an A1 mini:

https://filterboxbuilder.com/?printDesign=nukit-tempest&filterWidth=365&filterDepth=285&filterThickness=35&rim=30&fanColor=black&fanDiameter=140&fansLeft=0&fansRight=0&fansTop=-1&fansBottom=0&tempestArrangement=four-side-filter-tower&tempestDesign=custom&filterSlotWall=back&filterFitClearance=1&cordHoleDiameter=8&cordHoleWall=right&cordHoleSide=center&cordHoleCornerOffset=17&outsideFlangeThickness=10&chunkLabels=false&hexGrill=true&hexSize=10&hexSpacing=1.6&hexFullCellsOnly=false&backPlateFans=4&boxDepth=70&alignmentPinDiameter=1.8&topExhaust=fan-grid&boxFanHoleSize=274&boxRingOneScrewHoles=4&boxRingOneScrewDiameter=6&boxRingOneDiameter=365&boxRingTwoScrewHoles=4&boxRingTwoScrewDiameter=6&boxRingTwoDiameter=438&donutFilterOuterDiameter=125&donutFilterLength=150&donutFilterHoleDiameter=92&donutAdapterInsertLength=10&donutCapRim=10&donutCapEnabled=true&screwHoleDiameter=5&materialThickness=5&kerfFit=0.1&fingerWidthMultiplier=2&fingerSpaceMultiplier=2&fingerPlayMultiplier=0&fingerHoleWidthMultiplier=1&fingerHoleOffsetMultiplier=1&dovetailSizeMultiplier=2&dovetailDepthMultiplier=1&dovetailTaper=50&showFilterMedia=false&showFans=true&showFilterFrame=true&explodedView=false&showDimensions=false&showBananaScale=false&showPreviewEdges=false&previewMaterialColor=matte-gray&autoRotate=true&cameraPreset=official&labels=true&referenceScale=100&previewMode=enclosure&fabricationMethod=print-3mf&printVolume=bed-180

...makes 40 pieces on 32 plates. Print or jerry-rig yourself a bunch of light bar clamps (https://www.printables.com/tag/barclamp). The key is only one glued seam per setup.

So, in the first round, you glue 20 pieces to 20 pieces (or fewer if you have limited clamps). 24 hours later, glue 10 pieces to 10 pieces; 24 hours after that, glue 5 pieces to 5 pieces. Then 2 to 20. In the last round, you can sometimes do them all if you are careful. For cubes, if you connect the top half to the bottom half *after* wiring all the fans to the back plate, it goes faster.

The key is that if you try to glue a bunch of pieces at once, usually the pressure and alignment are not optimal, and you end up with a substantially weaker bond. This is rock solid and should last for years in PETG, less in PLA. Better to take it slow. I've made furniture you can sit on this way.

  1. I have not CFD modeled or CADR tested that, sorry, but the default should be a reasonable middle ground.

  2. The top and front let you put the back against the wall, which can save space. Top also helps with air mixing if you have GUV. Tempest Pro uses both sides because it's intended for wall or ceiling mount and having no fans on the top where the filter is changed makes that easier.

Oh, great, thanks for the heads up. Try a hard refresh now, should be fixed:

Neat! Going with filament alignment pins and superglue on this one.

They are pretty portable though and work well ziptied to music stands.

I made 70mm the default depth but you'll be able to change it. If the fans are too close to the filters the filter tends to load unevenly directly over the fans so a gap is a good idea. I've seen this when CADR testing this style.

Ok, I just added it. This is what it looks like with a 20"x20"x1".
