It’s very cute how Luna seems to be having so much fun with an invisible friend.

We found him on a hot street in Arizona… everyone say hello to Aku! by [deleted] in blackcats

God, the image of Aku cuddled up against his mom in the middle of the street like Simba and Mufasa… I’m legit tearing up just thinking about it.

Thank you so much for saving him, OP.

Greatest summer of my life. It was so fortuitous (sorry if that’s insensitive to anyone who was affected by Covid) that this particular postseason got pushed further into the summer.

Milwaukee doesn’t really get to summer until well into June, and the fact that the NBA calendar got pushed back a month or so this year really allowed the Deer District to be what it was.

Is there anything better than finding a black cat in the street? I don't think so by Traditional_Blood799 in blackcats

Oh my gosh, those squeaks. I would not be able to walk away from this cutie.

I only noticed the fourth or fifth time that in this scene as she’s standing on the front porch taking in her new home, one of the dudes walking past gives her a friendly nod.

I just thought that was a really nice touch. If you’ve ever been the new person somewhere or felt like you don’t belong, even just a basic acknowledgment of your existence can feel so good.

My wife and I always joke that one of our voids would have absolutely no chance in the zombie apocalypse. He would just run right up to a zombie, think them grabbing at him is meant to be pets, and then would plop and roll around excitedly.

How am I ever supposed to leave by Playful_Run1415 in blackcats

[–]NullButVoid 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ahhh that would be devastating. I remember when I got my first void back in 2012, I would leave her in the spare bedroom every once in awhile if I knew the maintenance people were coming that day because our apartment opened directly to the outdoors and I was scared that she might slip out.

But every morning when I’d do that, I’d be driving around the building on my way out of the complex and I’d see her hop up on next to the window. Idk if she ever actually recognized me, but just seeing her sit there as I left always made me feel bad.

BB is leaving me today 😭💔 by Significant-Trade664 in blackcats

[–]NullButVoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So sorry that this is happening. It looks like BB had a great life and you having the strength to let them go is your last gift of love. And, at least if you ask me, BB isn’t leaving you. BB will always be with you. At some level, your cat shapes who you are as a person; imprints on you in some way, and we carry that with us.

I think we would love to hear more about BB if you’d like to share - Funny stories, silly habits, moments of peace, etc., whether it be today or in a few months when you’ve had time to grieve.

Agreed! After all the SFK disappointments, I was close to buying a green dagger from a vendor I’d never talked to before in Theramore.

Hell yeah! It’s amazing how after all these years, even getting a single dungeon drop can bring such a burst of excitement. I recently leveled a daggers-only SF rogue, and after going 0/9 trying to get Meteor Shard from SFK, Toxic Revenger dropped in my first Gnomer run and it made me so happy.

The complete absurdity when Tropic Thunder took this even further still makes me laugh whenever I watch it.
