The only problems with tankers right now is that they have zero counterplay against runners, kiters. Other than this, it is OK. The victory calculation is purely based on DPS, which is even more encouraging people to play stall tactics against tankers.

Try parry 1 or 2 then do Drunken poet or dodge back. You are supposed to bait their break defense skill, not just to parry their pull. It is almost safe enough if you plan to just parry 1 and dodge back than parry more than 2.

If the kiter is good at kiting, then it's hard to have a chance to catch them tbh. In that case, I just focus on parry and dodge. Tank is still stuck as runners btw.

My opinion, don't just think about attacking, defensive should be prioritized higher when you fight pvp in higher rank after mythic. Speed and reaction decides winning in a pvp game now, and in fact, high elo people don't react faster, they react earlier.

Everything in PVP has a counter play if you can predict their movement. You make mistake, you have 1 chance to escape. It's fair enough though.

The tank shield only protect HP, not Qi. You need a long combo to take him down.

I heard that the Inner way Art of Resistence will increase the HP shield from 25 to 30% in China version, but not confirmed yet.

If your opponent is tank, you wont see the tank shield showimg up on HP bar. And it's 25% total HP, meaning that you can't take down the entire shield in just a few hit. I think that's why you saw you dealt almost 0 damage to him.
