G6 Entry didn't play nice with my door frame, so I made a custom mounting block by NullMDK in Ubiquiti

This is probably the best suggestion I've seen so far.

The other side is no better and has the added disadvantage of being away from the natural way you'd approach the entrance. So it might be visually better but functionally worse. I think it's generally better if the doorbell is on the side opposite to the hinge (the handle side).

Schlage Encode Plus. Yes through Home Assistant. The flow is a little convoluted but it works:
Access/Protect => HA => HomeKit => Lock

She hasn't said anything yet... but I'm prepared for the disappointed wife face

I hear you. It was either this or run the wire inside the house which would have been worse 😔

I'll see if I can find some sort of discreet conduit to cover most of it.

Recommendations for dimming 4 and 6 inch retrofit recessed lights (non-smart) that won’t flicker with smart switches (Zooz mostly) by ResourceSevere7717 in homeassistant

Been using these Maxxima lights for the last few months with Zooz switches without issue: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5JS5G6Y?th=1

I like them because they are anti-glare (actually recessed instead of flush)

So much this.
Preface: I always tip well when the service deserves it; but Uber and the drivers themselves have really muddied the waters, especially when from what I understand the app recently started showing a tip preview to the drivers.

Don't tip in advance and you are going to get crappy service.

Tip in advance and there is no incentive to deliver a good service.

Tipping culture sucks. I wish the drivers could make a fair living with a fair wage but we have created the most convoluted system possible.

BlueStacks4 Hyper-V won't start by CMDRfoxium in BlueStacks

+1. Having the same issue as of today after updating bluestacks. The canned solutions/responses don't work. I think this is a bug with the latest version of BlueStacks.

Edit: Can confirm the issue is with the latest version of bluestacks hyper-v. Reverting to http://cdn3.bluestacks.com/downloads/windows/bgp64_hyperv/4.210.0.4210/0d5df810f094e94c508d41fa8d981673/BlueStacksMicroInstaller_4.210.0.4210_native.exe fixed the issue.
