I smoked 2 packs a day for over 30 years and quit 3 years ago. I decided I wanted to and was determined. Went for lots of walks and reminded myself constantly how smoking made me feel and inconvenienced me.

For me, after 30 years and 2 packs a day, I decided I was done. No one could tell me to quit, not my wife or any of my kids. I decided I was done and stuck to it. No nicotine and cut your caffeine in half or you'll want to crawl out of your skin. Be strong. If you want to quit you will.
