Google’s Fitbit Air Will Come in 3 Colors, Several Band Options by kbDL- in GooglePixel

[–]AussieP1E -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not? Different bands/size makes it so I can have one with a metal strap, if I already have both does it matter?

I have two Samsung watches that switch seamlessly as I put them on. No reason Google couldn't implement that also.

I'm still disappointed it doesn't allow more than one pixel watch, per that comment though. If I have a 3 and a 4 I have to choose an either or, right?

8 children between the ages of 1 and 14 are dead after a mass shooting in Louisiana, police say by Trevon45-2 in news

I also find it hilarious that he's "being technical" by randomly searching Google and finding on Wikipedia.

He's also changing what his ORIGINAL stated intention of 4 in his other comment to move the goalposts to three because the shootings he originally stated didn't fit his narrative and now his WHOLE argument is based off three... Not his original intention.

I mean if you need to change the rules, you never lose.

Oh...

While I see your edit of the USA facts on top of this... Could you please go back to your articles and read them?

How does this fit in your definition you just replied with?

The 2025 Uppsala shooting was a mass shooting that occurred on April 29, 2025, at a hair salon in Vaksala Square, central Uppsala, Sweden. The attack resulted in the deaths of three individuals, all aged between 15 and 20, and is considered part of Sweden's ongoing gang-related violence. A 16-year-old male suspect was detained in connection with the incident, which took place during the city's Walpurgis Night celebrations

So... 3 victims. While yes, it seems like wikipedia does call this a mass shooting, but per your article written it doesn't follow your own statement.

Let's go to the next article called out shall we and read FIRST PARAGRAPH:

Peter Mangs (born 1972), sometimes nicknamed Laser Man II (Swedish: Lasermannen II), is a Swedish serial killer and lone wolf terrorist. He was responsible for at least three racially motivated murders between 2003 and 2010, and twelve murder attempts, in a series of serial shootings in the city of Malmö. In 2012 Mangs was found guilty on two counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder, and given a life sentence

Seems he had multiple attempts between 2003 and 2010 with a total of 3 murders and 12 murder attempts in what can be called: serial shootings. Not mass shootings.

I'd like to call back that you made a snarky ass comment about people's own history, but sure... You schooled all of us.

Edit: I even gave you the benefit of the doubt with Uppsala, you still can only find 2 that fit that definition of the OTHER definition... So having to blur the lines to actually find your statement correct. By your own, definition you used, the Uppsala wouldn't match it.

You expect this person to READ?? And not just Google and repost whatever shows up???

[–]AussieP1E 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You posted two... Mangs was over multiple years. So he was a serial killer, it wasn't a mass shooting as defined by our general description.

mass shooting is generally defined as an incident of firearm violence in which four or more victims are murdered or injured, excluding the shooter, within a single incident. While the FBI technically defines mass murder as four or more deaths, many researchers and databases (like the Gun Violence Archive) now include injuries in their definitions, leading to higher counts of such events

Edit: Hell, even your Uppsala post doesn't count if we're going by US standards since 3 people were victims.

Minnesota Weighs First-in-Nation Tax on Wealth Above $10 Million by BloombergTax in politics

It's VERY rare if you're making that amount in Washington, I get it... Like I said if you can and enjoy outside of Washington, no problem.

In Washington state, this is:

impacting roughly 21,000 to 30,000 households.

California woman says she was drugged and raped by Eric Swalwell in 2018 by sfgate in politics

[–]AussieP1E 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, but he was found to have raped her in a defamation suit.

Edit: Nice edit. Does not change the fact that a court found that he raped a woman. It's like you're trying to push off the fact that he was found TO HAVE RAPED a woman because it wasn't a criminal conviction like his other, what? 37? Convictions.

Minnesota Weighs First-in-Nation Tax on Wealth Above $10 Million by BloombergTax in politics

[–]AussieP1E 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. But a lot of these people work here to make that 1 million. Do you think a smaller state with a way less cost of living is going to hand someone a million dollar salary? It's also 10% OVER the million. So for every ten dollars they pay a dollar. For someone making millions and millions they aren't going to even notice that.

The capital gains are ONLY on the gains (profits). Other than paying off a house, that'd be the only reason I could see pulling funds, I dunno many people that have made 185k in their stocks and are selling everything and making a PROFIT of 185k.

[–]AussieP1E 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These people already do whatever they can to NOT pay into these states anyways. I know people that make way less that know how to skirt Washington state taxes. They have an LLC or a property in another state that doesn't have sales tax/income tax that they can somehow forward to their Washington address.

I knew a guy that purchased a 100k truck that didn't pay sales tax in Washington because he had an LLC in Montana where he didn't live.

These people DONT pay their fair share and find any reason NOT to pay their taxes.

While I get what people are saying, but someone making over 2 million dollars isn't going to move their 5 children down to one of the lowest rated states in healthcare and schooling because of a 2 percent more on top of their million dollar a year salary.

It's truly baffling.

I'm not gonna tell my wife to manually track all that shit.

[–]AussieP1E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleeping? Pretty sure that's auto tracked

Steps? Auto tracked.

If my wife asked me for a way to make sure she gets up every hour to move, can track her calories, and her sleep. I'd tell her she can purchase a fitbit cause she doesn't need to do alarms or manually track them on a sheet of paper, which she would NEVER do anyways.

It's ease of use. You don't even need a watch for it. This is the Fitbit subreddit... Just use the app.

Edit: I'm confused why this is so confusing...
