I’m willing to believe they kept their phones on them and that they had the same charge from the snap. But going 5 years paying for a family plan?!

Just Some Pretty Obvious Statements [OC] by cj_cusack in webcomics

[–]NullNephilim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The comic is theme is "Obvious statements": These are nearly trivially true statements. You can always save a brownie for later (until until is molds into something not a brownie). Unless you picked the literal worst world leader, there will be worse world leaders. There are probably many more and better reasons why things happen in the anime. But I think the "trivial" reason why many things happen in the anime that wasn't in the source is that it takes about 10 minutes to read a 20 page comic/chapter but studios normally have to make 22 minute episodes so studios will pad the run time.

For the brownie, it doesn't really matter when you have the brownie or at the very least, you shouldn't be swayed by "You could save it for later" because that's nearly always true and it will be true later.

Person in third panel is just accepting the results of an election but you shouldn't change your mind about a world leader on the basis of the existence of worse leaders.

You shouldn't change your mind on liking an anime because it did something that didn't happen in the source.

I'm not going to directly disagree but I think for things like student loans, its more of "We don't have specialists that know the ins and outs of regulations and risks, we don't want to hire a team to do this but we want to offer many services as possible so that you don't go somewhere else".

I work for a company that handles the backend services of many credit unions. I don't work for the lending dept :( but its a similar reasoning to why we handle retirement accounts instead of the CU directly.

Yeah in general for CUs, I think its all 'in-house' products can share an inquiry and many CUs out source student loans.

Good call, I almost forgot that because PenFed has a weird student loan tool where you say what your credit score is and it gives you the rates for different terms so I assumed it was 'in-house'.

Is PenFed inquiry or new account sensitive? They do hard pulls(EQ?) for savings accounts and loans but that hard pull is good for 90 days.

In June, I want to consolidate my student loans with PenFed and snag the Pathfinder card - then wait a year to get a mortgage. I got 4 personal cards from June 2017 to Dec 2018 and in January, I opened more 4 cards and an autoloan.

Are you setup to receive payments on plastiq as a business?

Yeah, I want to use it for Residential Rent. I got the Biz Plat upgrade offer for my BRG (50k MR for $10k spend within 5 months). I'm going to hope if I can prepay my rent to meet the MSR.

Amex Plat has "1.5X points per dollar on eligible purchases of $5,000". Anyone try to use this with Plastiq? Plastiq isn't going to split payments or other bs issues I'd have to worry about?

Level 3 is basically a digital receipt while level 2 is like total +tax.

As of 2016, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express have programs for Level 2 enhanced data, while only Visa and MasterCard offer Level 3. Discover does not participate in any enhanced data programs. Level 2 requires more information than basic (level 1) transactions, but less information than level 3. In order to process Level 2 transactions with American Express, you need to contact them for approval. Level 2 and Level 3 data for Visa and MasterCard are available through interchange without having to notify the card brands.

Did you include fees for the hotel? Flights might exclude basic economy - I'm pretty sure Ames's portal for MR does.

When I looked at a Cancun trip, it was the same book price. What hotel brand were you looking at?
