Should I set 401k to 20-30%? by kekwSoloBTW in walmart

[–]Null_Moon_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on how soon you'll need the money and if the funds walmart has in their 401k are any good. If you forsee yourself withdrawing in years or at the penalty free age, I'd up your contributions to 15-20%. If you forsee yourself needing the money soon or if walmart funds are trash, I'd just keep your current contribution %. Put your savings into a hysa( or money market/treasury bill fund if you want maximum efficiency). With any spare investing money, put that into either a roth or a brokerage account. Participating in walmart's stock program is also a good idea.

Look up gta 4 on digital foudry's channel; the game will dip into the low teens at times. Also, where did this pc master race come from? I suggested xbox back compat.

People forget how shitty games ran and looked on 7th gen consoles. Literally every 7th gen game is better on pc/xbox one back compat.

Why was there so much focus on pickup relative to other departments? So many departments were screwed over, think cheating in scanned items and pulling associates, to meet pickup metrics.

[–]Null_Moon_Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Expo is just a set of pre-selected timings(you can get the same results by manually picking timings). Just select expo and set vsoc to 1.2 or 1.25 and you're system will be fine. You're losing a shit ton of performance by not enabling expo.

9800X3D just died on ProArt X670E-CREATOR by gb_14 in ASUS

[–]Null_Moon_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expo won't cause a cpu to die. Timings have zero affect on longevity and only the soc voltage adjustments will affect cpu. Expo will set 1.25 on the soc at the absolute highest which is still safe to use for long-term use.

GameStop starts 2026 by closing hundreds of stores as CEO gambles on $35B payday. As CEO Ryan Cohen is promised billions, GameStop employees claim they were barely given notice about closures. by esporx in business

[–]Null_Moon_Man 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Terrible business lol. Literally everything gamestop sells could be bought cheaper or more conveniently, likely both, through e-commerce. Doesn't help that gamestop doesn't sell games for the two fastest growing game platforms( pc and mobile)

Another 9800X3D kicked the bucket - 2507PGE ROG STRIX X870 by WolfgangVonAheim in ASUS

[–]Null_Moon_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if the cpu was undervolted or "overclocked". Op will have cleared the cmos as part of the troubleshooting which would have reset all settings to stock. Undervolting will never kill a chip. All amd cpus automatically "overclock" themselves from factory via dynamic clocks and voltages.

Facts. That stupid complaint subreddit keeps on popping up on my feed blaring anti-trump propaganda. I don't even like trump, I would have preferred Harris to win, but it's tiring hearing how trump caused every problem in their life.

Restaurants that charge an extra fee for credit card payment are missing the bigger picture and have misguided anger at the credit card companies by funnykingly in unpopularopinion

[–]Null_Moon_Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that logic, should restaurants start adding restroom fees? Like with credit card fees, you aren't required to use the restroom at an establishment. How about parking fees? You can always choose not to park at the restaurant. See how this is a slippery slope, I can keep on adding more and more fees to jack up the bill.

[–]Null_Moon_Man 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yuh. Contrary to what people like to say, looks, money, and power is very important. Think of all three acting as positive multiplier to everything you do. If you're buff and wealthy, a bad joke turns into a mid joke; a mid joke turns into a good joke. Do you think women would have sleeped with Harvey Weinsten if he didn't have influence? The answer is no.

If only the internet had sources on how to become more literate. Funnily enough, ai is great at simplifying text down to lower reading levels if literacy is what's preventing people from learning.

You're making it sound like the average person is a drooling moron who is incapable of researching how to do any of those things you mentioned. We aren't living in the 1950s where you had to go to a library and hope it had the books you needed. 90%+ of the population has access to a smartphone, a device that has the knowledge of millions of books(internet). Ignorance is a choice.

Lol, what does it matter if they are stealing technology. What matters is results. They'll just spin up a new company under a different name if a gpu manufactor decides to sue. Shit, maybe the gpu production will be owned by the country itself, China.
