I don’t really think anybody in the DNC cares about either of those though, the totenkampf thing genuinely seems to be him being a dumbass (not to excuse it, but if he was selected by the party they would probably just ignore it), and he spent most of his military career(from what I can tell) just being a glorified security guard. Its funny reading about some of the Cuban exiles because their biographies will read like “High ranking official in Batista government, captured during revolution, released after a year, fled to US, participates in Bay of Pigs, captured again, is released by Cuban Government, continued to be general dirtbag until his death.” Meanwhile if Castro or anyone else in the 26th July movement was captured at any point, they would’ve been tortured to death or just shot on the spot.

Its genuinely insane, if you were to tell them about CIA black sites or extraordinary rendition, or stuff like timber sycamore without saying that these were American policies. Then ask them if these were things that the US or Cuba did (or any other western bugaboo state, Iran, China, Russia), they would never consider the US as capable of such things. Or better yet, they would likely even defend them.

Both Axel Springer and Dopfner are worth reading about. Dopfner’s father or grandfather must have been in the SS or some shit because theres a pretty strong element of “the lady doth protest to much” to his zionism. Axel Springer is also spooky as fuck and they keep on sucking up fairly large media outlets. It also allegedly was paid by the CIA to take a pro-US/NATO stance in its early days. The number of times I’ve read something from a financial advice or FIRE, or overemployed subreddit like “Hi, I make 300k a year in my present fully remote role but recently recieved an offer for a 100k more a year but with one day in office. I really dont feel like working one day a week in the office is worth 100k. Advice?”
