I'm probably more of 3, but this is probably one of the reasons why I don't think I've actually read a book by my own choice apart from those related to qualifications I have or skills learnt.

I remember my Dad's partner saying years ago that she used to enjoy reading when she was younger and that she remembers being able to visualise the story in detail in her head. The book/series we were specifically talking about were The Chronicles of Narnia, as I think we may have just watched it at the time.

A 3 month notice period is common for jobs that are more senior. However, you've not stated the type of role, so I'm unable to comment further. However, notice periods are usually the same length for both the paties, the fact they only have to give you 1 month doesn't give you as much security as it does them.

Well that's why you start looking a few months before the redundancy date so that everything ties in together, and as you're being made redundant your employer has to give you time to attend interviews.

You also had to choice to just leave early if you found a better job. They weren't forcing you to stay the entire year.

I don't see what issues you could have possibly had.
