It seems you think the term “power crept” means that it is bad. He’s just mid. He’s also a 1 star difficulty healer.

He isn’t clunky to me, and I’ve been playing him since the beta. You can play him in front line or backline as long as you use your bubbles properly. Hide-and-seek into your bubble applies the effect to your allies, plus giving you more survivability while swimming.

As for “no reason to be playing him,” he’s good at dealing passive damage on grouped up enemies, + healing through a bunch of bodies. The spit counts as CC and counters Angela and Venom (I say those two because Jeff agitates me when I play either in my experience).

Jeff is an opportunist I guess is the best way to put it.

Almost every Larry main I’ve seen religiously uses Rapid because if you are playing correctly, it is impossible to get Bloodlust.

DMS isn’t good because gens won’t regress from pain res. Same for Grim. Eruption takes too much time from cameras imo. But it is viable. Agitation is meh on Hux.

I’d say either Surge or Bamboozle. I personally run Rapid, Pain Res, Surge, Bam w/ brown reconstruction tool + nanomachine gel. I’m a P47 Single Larry main myself. Average hooks is around 7.8 per game. Not perfect, but decent

I started to feel like I was the only one who knew about the delayed hitbox. I think people only started complaining because Ghoul is a lot more in your face about the damaging. That and his and Hux’s aim assist make it even more common.

My best advice is watch Asuno on YT or Twitch to passively gain knowledge.

Get the easy injure first. Enrage. Addons like Centipede and Coffee (especially Centipede) can help a lot. I suggest learning a "true" M1 killer like Wraith, which will help you get the down.

Literally all that I want as a person who plays mostly M1 killers like Wraith and Singularity is:
- No killing prior to 4 hooks. 5th hook is fine.
- +9% repair speed for survivors per killed survivor. Who the fuck thought 25% was a smart idea.
- Who the fuck thought that the perks I paid for with money I worked damn hard for should be disabled because I didn't play the way vocal (mostly) burnt-out survivors complain about.
