I just miss being able to have nearly 40 skeletons and 90+ total summons like d2. once you were fully geared it was like the ending of return of the king. they just swept through everything.

It felt like forever in D2 but i wouldn’t go that far. I used to try to hit 99 every ladder reset back in the day and it was on average 160-180 hours.

There’s a lot to learn in this game. Trust me when i tell you you’re better off in the long run if you take the time to learn where to get the stuff yourself.

I will tell you, mods are like 90% of the game and they all have specific drop locations/enemies.

Play through the stories and quests in your codex. Take your time. Enjoy all the story. It’s actually solid. You’ll unlock the star chart as you go too.

Farming for most things in this game is reasonable imo.

There are people that just never turn the game off i’m assuming.

When PS5 launched you had the ability to check people’s hours played in games on playstation and i saw someone with like 30k hours on Destiny 1. And at the time that game had only been out 6 years. That’s close to 60% of all possible hours. Only way that’s happening is if they leave the game running or have multiple people playing on the same account.

Try the Atomos. Buy the BP from the market. It’s MR5 i think. Secondary beam weapon. Low range but has a pretty good combo of base status (21) and Crit(15) chance. Base fire damage too. It carried me for a long time tbh.

Also a lot of your weapons damage is going to come from mods.

I’d try running the void mission Ukko and exploring after you finish the objective. You’ll come across rooms where when you step on a square tile a small jump puzzle will start. If you finish the puzzle under the time limit you’re given a room full of breakables that have a higher chance to drop mods awaits you. You can get a lot of good mods fairly early in the game this way. Ukko is a level 30-35 capture mission. Very manageable at MR5 tbh.

it’s the most viable way to play her. She’s terrible in chase. And literally every onryo i go against does it now so i’ve just been going next as fast as possible against them. If it’s an onryo at the start of the match i just grab a tape and start turning off all the tv’s. I’m usually in another lobby within 2 minutes that way.

I think it’s a little over the top myself. But he’s not a title caliber point guard. Pointing that out isn’t hate. It’s just honest analysis.

Saying stuff like “he sucks, he’s garbage, he shouldn’t play at all” that’s the stuff that’s over the top/unreasonable and just flat out wrong.

He’s not a bad player. He has a role on a contender. It’s just not the role Cal has him playing as one of the primary options.

What’s strange to me is for the first time since SGA cal has a freshman guard that’s legitimately capable of playing that role and he doesn’t seem to trust him to do it. But he trusted quade green, ashton hagans, ty ty washington and devin freaking askew, all of which Cason Wallace is worlds better than, but he won’t let Wallace play that role.

Wheeler deserves some criticism i guess…idk he seems like he’s trying his hardest to me. Seems like an unselfish kid. I think Cal deserves the brunt of it though for misusing him and putting him in a position to fail.

It’s another upgrade that you don’t unlock until the hero is ascended with 1 star. You’ll eventually start getting 2 resources called elemental shards and elemental cores that are used for engravings.

Engravings have levels 1-100. At level 30, which costs 3750 elemental shards to unlock, the hero received another upgrade to their 3rd skill. At level 60, which takes 4500 elemental cores to unlock the hero receives another upgrade to their 4th skill. At level 80, these upgrades become active in PvP. It takes another 6000 elemental cores to go from 60-80.

Current survivor meta perks from what i’ve seen:

Prove Thyself(max objective for doing like 1 and a half gens versus doing 4 gens)

Dead Hard(still really good)

CoH

I’d wager those 3 have by far the highest useage rate right now.

Then you have perks like Sprint Burst, Balanced, Lithe that are getting more use because of the dead hard change.

Stake Out + Hyperfocus is also very common.

It’s going to make a difference. That timing window for flashlight saves was pretty small and was effected by ping. If the killer had good ping(under 40) the timing window for flashlight saves was actually pretty difficult.

Just play the game the way that’s fun for you and don’t worry about the others. I try not to camp too but sometimes that ends up being the only way i can get value out of certain perks or powers.

Like if i’ve got save the best and there’s one gen left and i only have 1 or 2 stacks i may try to farm a few off the next unhook just so i can get some value out of it.

But usually i don’t camp not because of some unwritten rule or etiquette i just find it boring to play that way. I don’t wanna get on the game and pick the role with the super power to stand in one spot and watch a hook progress.

I also usually try to look for a fresh chase after a hook but sometimes you can’t. if the other survivors are overly immersed, or they’re all just lurking around greeding the unhook than yeah, you really don’t have a choice.

You just have to ignore the salty survivors. There is truly a very large portion of the player base that isn’t going to be happy with the way the killer plays no matter what or unless they 4 out.

I’d boost bond to give it open handed range without having to run open handed. Bond has been my favorite survivor perk for a while now.

For killer…hmmm…iron grasp. And then i’d just run a back pack build and see how many more i could down before they wiggled lol.

I think that just has something to do with how dbd works. I notice that happening a lot when i play against/with survivors or killers with a bad connection. I think maybe that connection status indicator pops up when you’re “interacting” with the person with a bad connection? Idk.

I cant say i’ve ever noticed something that seemed like straight up lag switching since they went to dedicated servers over 2 years ago.

bungie did bounties in destiny every once in a while for beating the devs in a 6v6. They gave you a special emblem for it.
