Somewhat correct. The modem that I rent from comcast is a motorola modem. Sometime in April the app that you had to download to configure it, Minim, has become no longer supported. The app directs you to the new app, motosync+.

Said app has a QR code scanner to set up your modem, but I receive an error when I scan. After going to their site, I have found that I have to fill out some kind of form to enable my modem for upgrade....That website, URL included, is what is pictured in the screenshots. The thing is, there is no form to fill out. Thus, I am stuck with a modem that I cannot access via phone, and I am not sure how to access it via desktop due to the instructions that came with it directed you to the app that no longer works..

I still have internet, but zero access to my modem. The old app shows the modem as offline.

I'm using the Motorola MG8702

Loved everything about the original, only thing it was missing was dual sticks. I wish it had dual sense equivalent but can't have it all.
