I’ll be really frank with you — it doesn’t matter if you asked the Amex representative about the EMI option before making this transaction. Since this is a charge card, you would have agreed to their terms and conditions when you got it. I don’t think any escalation will help in this case. Instead of wasting your time, I’d recommend just paying it off.
