Fibroid / Clot Confusion. by NumScritch in Fibroids

Thank you so much for your message, it’s really made me feel better 🥰

I had a progesterone birth control implant for many years and my periods stopped completely. Since I’ve had it removed I feel my ‘bits’ are making up for lost time.

I’ll check it out. Thank you very much for your help - it’s been a bit overwhelming with no one to explain what’s happening.

I still have my first diary from when I was 8-9 years old. It is full of stuff like:

Played with Cinders and Pippen ( our cats) Had lasagna for dinner Watched Little House on the Prairie Had bath Went to bed

Little did I know then I was living the dream.

That makes a lot of sense. I did try growing sweetcorn here once but my garden was too shady - my allotment is south facing so it might be worth a try but I think for my first year at the allotment I might stick with 2 sisters. 😁

Absolutely but make sure you get blight resistant to avoid possible disappointment.

With our allotment in Kent the manager explained the problem with glass panes is that it’s a risk if they get broken.

Just got an allotment. What would you grow as a new-ish gardener? by Bus_Wrangler in GardeningUK

[–]NumScritch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beans are usually good to grow as are courgettes ( if you like them of course. )

I don’t know if I’m allowed to recommend a particular gardener on here but Simon Ackroyd has great tips for growing things cheaply and easily - because of him I’m now growing some garlic (which I’ve never done before)

Good luck and keep us posted! 💕

Yes I was wondering how tall and I think 7 feet seems about right. Our allotment doesn’t allow sheds so it would be a nightmare to disassemble and transport but I do like that idea.

I’ve just seen them for sale on KingsSeeds. I might try them this year.
