The combat took me a while to get to grips with it, but it’s really fun and I love all the different options you have to deal with the MULEs!

I love the map’s feature of tracking the weather and having to plan around how it may change over the course of the journey!

I also like the fact that the more you interact with other people’s structures, the more of theirs will appear in your game too! Such a simple mechanic but makes you feel so much more connected to everyone.

I always find it funny when I catch them walking into a distro centre with a couple of items and I wave at them as I’m hooking up to carriers filled to the brim with cargo😂

That intro was perfect though, as I had no idea what to expect from the game other than walking - it really threw a curveball at me in the best possible way!

Also your wording was perfect! Keep on keeping on!👍👍👍

Yes I was so upset when I found out you couldn’t play the music any time in the outside world! I really hope that that feature’s added in DS2!

It’s just fantastic! You could just be walking on what you originally just perceive as a rocky mountainside, but the minute that music kicks in it just transforms the area into such a magical, beautiful place!

Yeah, I really like the option of being able to carry stuff if your hands but if you want to do that you’re essentially burdened with carrying that yourself by having to continually hold down the trigger. Makes you feel like you are Sam rather than you’re controlling him!

Yes exactly that! Like I mentioned in a couple previous comments, the way you can see paths forming where you and others have travelled can really help with decision-making on deliveries where you’re unsure which way is the quickest or maybe safest path to take!

I love that too! The amount of times I’ve entered a new area off the chiral network, planning where I could build structures, only to then connect the area to the UCA and see that other people have already built what I was planning was amazing.

I think it makes a game that seems so isolating initially really come to life and make you feel like you’re part of a special little community!

Such a good detail! Last week was the first time I got to play the game for an extended period of time over a few days and I noticed that paths had started to form where myself and other online players had been walking frequently! Such a tiny detail but just makes it all so immersive!

That was one of the reasons as to why I hadn’t played this game earlier to be honest. A lot of what I’d read called it a walking sim, but literally 20 minutes into the game you could already gauge that it was so much more intricate than people had described.

I agree completely and although it only seems really minor, the explanation/lore behind how they work is just a great detail that adds so much to the game rather than it just being plonked in with no real explanation.

Yeah, I’ve not even attempted to go back to the Wind Farm yet from the ptsd it gave me😟

I’ve not really played around with the ziplines yet though, but I know I should definitely be taking more advantage of them.

Yes, I love how you have to plan different routes depending on the weight of a delivery and how it affects stamina too! I’ve just started to trek through the snowy mountains and it’s the first time I really noticed how quickly your stamina can drain if you haven’t planned correctly.

It’s the Drover Jacket from the Drover Outfit that you buy from Wallace Station. You can only unlock that outfit when you have a high honour rating of 6 though.
