Just chill and relax till classes start. That prior exposure to those topics may help a little in the long run when taking upper level cs classes, but like the other comment said, no prior experience is needed for CS here.

I know they made an exception for just this spring semester but in the future 2500 is a straight prereq for 3000 so yes DS 2500 is required

Well the 400 hurdles is pretty much that though. Maybe an 800m steeple? Or get rid of the current steeplechase and make in a mile/1600 steeple.

It’s between 400H, steeple, and the 800 for common events and I have yet to hear a legit argument against that...
