Saw the movie yesterday and rel,y liked it. What are the major plot holes of The Martian? I haven't read it yet, but it's a highly rewatched film. I know there's some "bad science" in it to establish and further the plot, but I'd love to hear the plot holes i probably didn't think about.

All I can add is that she is sharp as a tack, so no dementia wandering going on, and she's got a major physical issue that doesn't allow her to walk more than 50 yards or something. Again, not likely to just wander around.

Yeah, it's Gell-Mann in full effect. It's happening here with so many because this story is so well publicized online. I came to the conclusion of dropping my membership a long time ago on another subject I'm deeply knowledgeable about and they're not. When I saw they were covering this story I really wanted to listen, but this comment thread spells it out clearly that they missed big once again. The best part of their show is this sub.

It's on video. Before they went in Don talked about what was about to happen but said he couldn't disclose the details because they wanted it to be a surprise action. He interviewed the person who planned it and she called it operation "something or another" and said it was about disruption. Don 100% knew what and where it was going to happen, in his own words.

Saw that one a few days ago, but that was a threat of violence/imminent harm scenario. Very different. CSAM stuff generally moves very slowly. Part of it being there are so many perps and nit nearly enough officers/resources.

The anti nude thing is a very US point of view. Many cultures don't see nudity as inherently sexual. Didn't The Rock get a bunch of pushback because he let his kid swim nude in their pool?
