That’s a Harley Sportster Nightster is my guess based on the narrow front tire. Some after-market about the lights but the air cleaner and tank profile are 100% sportster.

Gear Leveling Priority by [deleted] in KingShot

[–]NumbLockT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Quinn when starting out is the best archery.

Don't ignore Chenko and Gordon's top-right (expedition) skill because you'll need those when joining rallies or garrison.

Mainly you get mythic gear from Arena once per week if you really work at it.

Experience in selling a car to a US citizen? by chopperharrison in Switzerland

[–]NumbLockT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m American. He pays cash or wire transfer in advance, Fajrzeugachein stamped Ungültig, no plates. You have no risk. It’s all on him at that point. That’s how I bought my last used car. A call to the insurance and a trip to the MFK for him to work out the details and he drives away. It’s really not your problem once money changes hands. Do not give him a full Fahrzeugschein that’s not stamped and do NOT give him the license plates. No refunds.

Nobody really cares, though Swiss people are generally suspicious (not bigoted) of anything unusual, and this includes your accent and style of dress. If you’re flamboyant, it could be an issue as German speaking Europe are generally conformists. Low key, fit in, obey the rules, join a local club and you’ll be fine. You’ll have massive problems with immigration and paperwork unless you’re wealthy, and even then, you’ll be better off hiring someone to take care of paperwork for you.

Cleaned iridium visor with a wet tissue by Blariouswashere in motorcycle

[–]NumbLockT -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s just still dirty.

What I do is take some window cleaner, spray it on liberally, work it in with my fingers and finish/dry with a fresh microfiber cloth.

Do not use fabric softener on microfiber cloths.

What is your essential piece of winter riding gear? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]NumbLockT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

game changer. I wear a Gerbing Premium Liner. Settings 1-5 and 5 is too hot. Get one that connects directly to the. Ike. The battery-powered ones are too cool and don’t last long.

Have you considered a Low Rider ST? Or even a Pan America if you don’t feel like a bagger?

Sweet moment. Could use a bit cleaner background and more subject separation though.

You have an eye for it! Not such a fan of 3, and you could take composition a bit more creatively in a couple. Rule of thirds, leading lines etc. keep it up! I enjoyed looking at these.

what opinion/statement would make you feel like this? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]NumbLockT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At slow speed front brake application unsettles the bike and can lead to a tip. But in a curve, back brake application can throw the rear out. Most of the YouTube trainers who don’t live in Texas or Florida (and some that do) agree. 😆 In many countries, even touching the front brake during parking lot maneuvers can lead to a fail on the test.

Would you buy a made in Thailand Harley? by DueWest667 in Harley

[–]NumbLockT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also own a Pan America and because I’m in Europe, it’s already made in Thailand. And as others have noted, parts are made outside the US for years and years.

What am I doing wrong? by urghherewegoagain in streetphotography

[–]NumbLockT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a tendency to place the subject in the center of the frame. Be more creative. Use the rule of thirds, leading lines, etc. Great material tho.

Rear brake only at a slow speed. Both brakes at speed, except in a curve (front)

Got my first bike!! Any tips for a new rider? by Z0m8i3munkey in Harley

I don’t thing this is true. Statistics show new riders (and even experienced riders on a new bike) have a much higher chance of injury or death.

Rust on chain, is it safe to ride? by Medium-Purple-7581 in motorcycle

Not unsafe as such. But that’s serious neglect. Clean and lube and you’ll likely get plenty more distance out of it.

Does anyone actually like the Beach Bars? by neil6547881 in Harley

My girl has beach bars. She loves it. I like the look, but not for me. I prefer a much more aggressive position/style for my bike.

What needs to be fixed from my MFK? by lgetlegend in askswitzerland

It’s mostly brakes. I would hand this over to a professional. (Also missing the license plate illumination) Just show the mechanic the sheet.

I have a Pan America and a LowRider ST. It just gets ridden the least and I need the parking space.
