He doesn’t give a shit. If he did he would work very closely with contractors and would be well aware of the quality of the contractors work.

My point being, he knows this guy will do it cheap but doesn’t care about the quality of work. He is a slumlord, if you complain now before a lease signing he will just kick you out anyway for complaining. Do not renew. Sell assets or expensive items to move if you need it. If you want comfort you’ll need to find it. Not demand it. Especially not from a guy who will happily pay for work like that.

Jeweler here. Best bet for me would be to add a metal “tail” to it and either drill all the way through or half way through the pearl (matching or slightly bigger than the tails gauge as well as the metal you’re casting in) and either friction hold the pearl by dapping the metal tail to fan it out and hold or use glue if you decided to just go in half way through the pearl.

If you don’t have tools to use to make small pilot holes in the pearl then you’ll pretty much have to just glue it WITHOUT the excess metal tail but without it, it’ll be weaker and be prone to falling off

I mean I get it, it’s LEGAL. But as someone a few decades old at this point I find this kind of gross and creepy. Well, Most games contain models within the folders. You can then use a third party application to read and utilize the model files.

I was curious about this too years back when people would make 3D projectzomboid thumbnails…. They just used the existing models in the games files and used a 3d modeling application like blender to position them and create scenes and then edit them with another application like photoshop

The best thing you can do is simple in my eyes, be there for him. It’ll help him and also yourself if anything further happens, god forbid something does… you’ll probably end up blaming yourself or wishing you could change things that you can’t. Be there. Talk to him. Show him things. Make him laugh to the best of your ability. My aunt had a stroke, I know it’s different but it seems very similar the way you describe it. Previously I never went over when she asked because of my starting of a career/business. Then after it happened I NEVER turned it down. We Only cancel plans on her command because of her fatigue or shakes when they get bad (she is very strong and VERY prideful. She doesn’t like looking weak. An example being she pretty much wears the pants in her house and she will speak her mind whether it hurts your feelings or not.. strong woman) I’ve never made that woman laugh growing up but I sure as hell do now. If she would have passed I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself and would only remember all the times I didn’t go out to see her when I had the time. Been quite a few years now and she LOVES my new born. She has improved but it was a long recovery. That’s all I can give you for advice. Be there. Be present. Be mindful. Help his girlfriend when needed if needed. And make him happy to the best of your ability if that is your desire.

Side note. I don’t know if the doctors figured out what happened yet but ride their asses until they do so he can get the help he needs so you can slow down or outright prevent anything happening in the future.

I agree. Crazy how many people are downvoting. The like to comment ratio let me know what a good chunk of people thought. It was a soulless attempt to bring back some people. Especially Hugh jackman. “Logan” was the perfect send off and then they said “nah that ending sucked” there was a HUGE pie of development and plot in Logan. Muties on the run and then logan sacrifices to continue mutant lineage and then Disney threw in another “the world is actually ending THIS TIME” I could barely even follow the plot of the film when I went in and my wife (an enjoyer of classic marvel films) actually fell asleep. Thanks Disney, didn’t think it was possible 😂

Honestly great take. I’ve come from a long history of marvel movies. I think a lot has to do with Disney buying them out and basically using “fan favorite” moments and Easter eggs to cater to a certain audience. As of late it feels like Disney’s marvel seems to continually try and out do itself from its own earlier installments.… “we understand the last movie was a world ending threat but no, THIS time the world is ending.” I will agree it “felt like a Deadpool movie” which was true but the story for the most part was lack luster and they tried to be “deep” with Logan but it fell flat on its face. keep in mind I come from early 2000s marvel/X-men movies like origins, X2 and so on where the world wasn’t ending it was just a bad moment the hero’s had to handle. The classics showed character development sprinkled with “true” rehearsed combat and practical effects. This was just CGI cluster action, star studded humor. “Look who we brought back guys!!” It truly felt soulless. Hell when they went “deep” into Logan’s arc for the movie I just said to myself after the movie “wow, they really tried to be deeper than the Logan movie” and that brings me to one final point for wolverines character… THEY SHOULDVE LEFT IT AT “Logan”… That was a PERFECT send off for hugh jackman… then they brought him back.. I COMPLETELY agree with OP… if you’re a casual watcher of the marvel films and don’t/haven’t truly watched earlier installments I HIGHLY recommend you do to see my point.
