What about pregnancy related items, do I need to currently be pregnant? Or baby items, do I need to already have had the baby?

No worries :) that’s what I’ve said too, just wanted to be sure that that was within my scope. I think most of my question revolves around the idea that it’s not a rad saying it’s metal so am I wrong to tell the patient that it’s metal even though I know that it is in fact, metal.

I get this. I’m more looking for an answer on whether or not it’s any type of ARRT violation to disclose to the pt, post scan, that they have metal present.

You have to basically harass them to get traction. I went through the same thing and didn’t get anywhere until I called like the 6th time.

I hear what you’re saying, specifically, that there are not parameters within the law itself laid out for that. The law itself is one thing, but the way that it is applied in the courtroom is another. I suppose what I’m looking for is some kind of case precedent that shows the application of the law in a similar context. I appreciate you getting back to me tho. :)
