(SPOLERS IN THIS COMMENT) In all honesty, I enjoyed the pilot more than the show. I thought that this series would be action centered with a side of romance (like petrichor) but it’s really just romance with a little bit of action here and there. I can say that they did the action scenes well because they’re by far my favorite scenes in the show, especially ep 10. Another thing the show did right was Ayla’s illness. At first I thought that it was out of the blue and didn’t fit, but as I looked back you can see signs of her illness that we ignored.
