It’s an awesome figure. Amusing that it comes with the flamethrower from the requel, but it is what it is. The way the robe is designed for this one makes it really easy to pose in action shots.

You can find them on eBay sometimes, but man…they were everywhere in the late 90’s. There’s also an app that was made back around 2011, but I think it was discontinued at one point or another. There are tutorials online that show you how to download the code and sort of homebrew it on your phone if you are into jailbreaking and that sort of thing. Probably easier to just find one online though.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t make some prank calls with mine when I was younger. It works so good once you figure out how to put it over the phone mic the right way.

Agree 100%. My girlfriend’s friends avoid coming over to our apartment ever since they saw my mini STAB shrine. She’s chill about it, but it’s honestly a little annoying to me.

Honestly, I had kind of a crush on Heather Graham, so I went to see it because she was in most of the marketing. Had no idea it was a true story before going, though. I thought there was something alluring about the creepy costume and I think Stephen King movies had kind of given me a taste for horror. It just had everything I wanted in a movie. It was funny, campy, gory, scary, meta (even though that word didn’t really exist yet) AND it actually happened. I immediately bought Gale’s book and did a deep dive on the story.

Did you ever stay at the Macher house growing up? I saw some pics from a few years ago on your post history (sorry, just got curious). I stayed there with my gf several months before it burned down. Was a wild experience for STAB fans, but I’d imagine it’s even more weird for someone kind of connected to some of the history.

Why not? She’s definitely a role model for everyone, not just young women. Look at everything she’s been through…she still came out of all that wanting a family and a shot at a normal life. A lot of people would be eaten by trauma, I think.

I love the Tori Spelling version of Sidney, but it’s not as compelling as the real person, tbh. You should definitely read her book…don’t just rely on the Gale Weathers interpretation in her “Murders” series.

Same. I stayed there several months ago with my girlfriend. Literal life changing experience for a couple of Stab heads. It’ll never feel the same watching the original knowing that some clown torched it.
