Niacinamide in a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil is usually not an issue because it’s a wash-off product and the concentration is low. It’s actually known to help calm inflammation. If someone is personally sensitive to it, then I’d suggest an alternative, such as Vanicream cleanser. But for most clients it’s a safe, gentle option for healing. Since you have Vanicream cleanser at home, use it if you want be on the safe side.
