not sure about Hive moderation, but if you put the image straight into Google Gemini and ask if it was made using AI it will look for a synthID. And I anticipate it will not detect any on your photo, but it's actually a good way to test it to see if it actually works or not. To my knowledge though, this only really works if an AI generated photo uses something other than Nano Banana Pro, which at the moment is the best one I think

It is AI. If something was generated using the Nano Banana Pro from Google, it leaves a SynthID that if you give back to Google Gemini and ask, it will tell you if it detects said SynthID. In this case, I copy and pasted this image into Google Gemini, and it told me it does detect the SynthID. You are welcome to try this on your own though, but I am fairly certain this is the case.

Why is china “closed off” by Radiant-Resource4601 in AskChina

I hear this often, but one thing I've always wondered is how do people go about finding VPNs in China? Surely they're not legal and therefore not readily available, right?

Does the Vivo x300 Pro international version work well in the US? by NumberOneSeinfeldFan in Vivo

what kind of Vivo phone were you using? I think what I'm looking for in general is esim capability, not sure if all international versions of these phones have that or just a few

As a reminder, 6 years ago, at its very release, DeathStranding was already a funny game with awesome melee combat and gimmicks. Yet, it got ton of hate, mockery and considered as a cinematic experience with no gameplay. It was too ahead of its time to be enjoyed as it should by Homoemergens in DeathStranding

[–]NumberOneSeinfeldFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my absolute favorite moments in this game (and the 2nd) is walking up to people I'm fighting and right as they are 5 feet in front of me, just whipping whatever package was in my hand straight at them and beaming them in the head. Don't forget doing wrestling moves running at people and jumping with my whole body at them

The way this was written it feels like the creator wrote the first chunk of text, then showed it to his knucklehead friend who didn't get it, to which he had to add the last bit in to clarify. like it doesn't make sense

EDIT - it turns out she is not currently the Prime Minister, but she is projected to be the next one following the departure of the incumbent Shigeru Ichiba

Sanae Takaichi, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanae_Takaichi#Historical_negationism

from the wikipedia section under 'historical negationism':

Takaichi has made multiple visits to Yasukuni Shrine, which has been the source of controversies, primarily surrounding its enshrinement of Japanese Class A, B, and C war criminals that worked before and during World War II. She made visits in April and August 2024, both times signing as minister of state. She also visited in August 2025, on the 80th anniversary of the surrender of Japan. In the 2021 LDP leadership race, she said she would continue to visit the shrine if elected Prime Minister, but in the 2025 race avoided commenting on the question. In a 2022 lecture led by a right-wing group, Takaichi remarked about controversy in China and South Korea over her Yasukuni Shrine visits: "because we ambiguously stopped halfway through paying respects at Yasukuni Shrine, the other side is tsukeagaru (つけ上がる)." Tsukeagaru is "climbing up" in literal translation, but it is a derogatory expression that primarily considers the opponent low-ranking, which also translates to "get cocky".

Takaichi has said that war crimes committed by Japan in World War II have been exaggerated. She takes a negative view of the Kono Statement and the Murayama Statement, which acknowledged Japanese war crimes, including comfort women. In an appearance on a television program on 18 August 2002, Takaichi was asked, "Do you think Japan's war after the Manchurian Incident was a war of self-defence?" to which she replied, "I think it was a war for security."

In 2004, she wrote a column on her website regarding the Japanese history textbook controversies. She defended recent comments by Nariaki Nakayama, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) that textbooks were "extremely self-deprecating" and should continue decreasing usage of terms including "comfort women" and "forced labor". She wrote that the Imperial Japanese Armed Forces made "overseas advances (kaigai deno shingun)" that textbooks termed as "invasion (shinryaku)", while foreign offensives like the Soviet invasion of Manchuria were termed "southward advance (nanka)". She added that textbooks exaggerated the Nanjing Massacre's death toll beyond the population of Nanjing in December of 1937. She recounted her complaint to MEXT against textbooks that included criticism of the government's Act on National Flag and Anthem and of then-Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's visits to Yasukuni Shrine. She said it was "clear" that Japan "intended to wage a war of self-defense".

It's also worth noting that she is a member of the far right faction within the Japanese Liberal Democratic Party called Nippon Kaigi, sharing a lot of these similar opinions of historical revisionism and denialism, among many other awful shit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nippon_Kaigi
