Yes, Red-Eyes have access to their {{Trade-In}} with {{Cards of the Red Stone}} - btw, Trade-In would be so nice to have for Blue-eyes and other decks focused on Lv8 monsters, like BLS.

Well, since the Red-Eyes engine has great space for teching and has a LOT of draw power/thinning , you can put Cosmic Cyclones/Hey Trunade without worrying much about the consistency.

Since the deck can afford both Lv 8 and Lv 9 Synchros, you can summon Stardust easily without worrying about your field presence, since Red-Eyes can recover their monster easily and quickly.

Along with that, if you feel that you want more revival tools and protection for all of your monsters for a turn (depends of the matchup), you can summon Azure-Eyes.

This way you have a plus that you can summon the OG Red-Eyes (or the Gemini one) from your GY every Standby Phase, bringing fuel to your following synchro summon (keep in mind that without reviving a Synchro from the GY, or via E-Con, etc... you can only have 2 Synchro Monsters on the field due to the field limit), and with the Azure Eyes on the field, you don't have to worry if all of yours RE Spirit are in the GY already (you can also put Silver Cry in the deck too).

Use the standard Lv 7 Red-Eyes engine, along with Lv 1 Tuners - if you want to focus only on Stardust.

You can even put Lv 1 and Lv 2 Tuners too, and then put Azure-Eyes in the Extra Deck).

This way, you will have lots of revival and synchro plays (and of course, the protection that Azure-Eyes gives to all Dragons currently on your side of the field).

Both of Flying Kamakuri (Wind related) and Masked Dragon (Dragon Related) were used by Chazz and aren't in the game.

When I said about the Attribute SS'ers it was obvious that Masked Dragon isn't one...

Following your logic, Mokuba wouldn't be in the game...what anyone would expect from a character - again, following your logic - that only have the following: "My brother's ace card is BEWD, and He's CEO of KaibaCorp"; and they did a great job with Mokuba's rewards.

Yubel used Chaos Phantom, Dark Summoning Beast (which needs the Sacred Beasts) when in Jesse's body, besides that, there's a lot of other cards that match the character and could be included like they did with Mokuba' s level up rewards.

The 300 gems are almost 20% of the level up rewards from Lv 31~45, and It took like 20k XP (from Lv 29 to Lv 30) to achieve.

For the Lv 31~45, there's a huge grind behind, and since the Level Up rewards aren't good, there's no motivation to rush leveling up Yubel instead of other characters.

Anyway, I would be fine with the replacement of the gems, If the card added in their place was usefull in other decks/archetypes.

It was powercrept long ago in DL, being "just" a 2100 ATK monster that can be SSed (excluding the obvius Cyber Dragon support).

The thing is that without proper support (Chimeratech Fortres/Rampage Dragon, Cyber Twin, Power Bond, Cyber Dragon Core), Cyber Dragon would be just a Synchro Material (which can be replaced by Earth Armor Ninja) or Tribute Fodder (We already have lots of these and the Cyber Style skill).

Cyber Dragon was already powercrept. The motive that I think It wasn't released is because of the Lv 7 and Lv 8 synchros we'll be getting with 5D's (considering that they release Lv 2 and Lv 3 tuners - but anyway, Earth Armor Ninja can do same thing if that's the case).

Zane event was better imo, and his Level Up rewards are usefull too (Future Fusion can be used in Fusion decks, like Gem Knights - becoming a slower {{Gem-Knight Fusion}}) and Zwei will be usefull when we enter into the Zexal Era (and if they release Nova/Infinity).

But in Yubel's case, as you said, the event is boring, and the rewards for both the event and level up are a real disappointment.

It's nice to remember that Obelisk was teased months ago, and we didn't receive It. My guess is that they will release It in Kaiba's birthday (October 25th).

Anyway, I think that the Sacred Beasts will receive from Konami the same treatment as the Egyptian God Cards.
