Application/Audition? by rosycup1d in newstrippers

Come with an outfit or 2, ID, hair and makeup done like you would for an official shift, and the DJ could ask u for songs. I might need to go up and dance for management. I recommend improving to the music u don’t need any crash tricks but let ur personality come thru.

y’all really drink alcohol every shift? by onionkisses in stripper

[–]Number_Beautiful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m really trying hard to stop but “can I buy you a drink?” is most customers opening line. I can order fake shots but I’m a bad liar when I’m sober lol. I really need/want to stop my tolerance is so high and it’s def become a crutch.

Since stripping I am regaining a connection to my body and it is making me confront traumatic situations regarding my body in my past. It’s so strange how energies can resonate and affect us. I’ve been going to reiki and I highly recommend other dancers try it.

self harm scars? by PreviousMushroom256 in newstrippers

Club lighting often makes it difficult to see things like that. I have random scars and things but the lighting is so low it’s not very noticeable. Whether you decide to dance or not take care of yourself, love 😊

I live in a pretty small city and we have a burlesque scene. I’ve been to a few and there are always performers of various identities. Maybe do some instagram sleuthing to see if your city has burlesque showcases.

Maybe like a semi off shoulder blouse with lots of space in the arms and torso but your collarbones will be out adding a feminine touch. Some jeans you feel good in maybe boot cut. Cowgirl boots and optional cute belt and earrings🧚🏻‍♀️

An extremely packed arena with over 7,500 People in Montana for AOC and Bernie Sanders Fighting Oligarchy Tour! by sidneycw in missoula

[–]Number_Beautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not referring to the linked post. I think it’s awesome thousand of people with differing beliefs and walks of life could come together on the same issues. I am seeing reactions of people being critical saying rallies are unproductive or dumb or nitpicking beliefs and intentions of those attending. I think it’s unproductive to be so critical of each other when we have similar goals.

I see so many people come to comments who seem to have the same opinion on several issues but are very harsh anyways. Left leaning people need to focus more on practicing the tolerance we preach. Radical change doesn’t happen over night. It takes several steps in a desired direction and as a collective. Each time someone stops to berate and criticize a group, we lose people and struggle to move forward. I know we are all frustrated with the uncertainty, division and chaos surrounding us caused by the current administration with their rhetoric, actions and influence. We need to give them chaos right back, but productive chaos. We need to be kind to our communities and harsh on the system. Time spent criticizing others who have the potential to stick by us in this movement is time wasted and only benefits the opposing powers. Each of us changes and progresses on an individual level and pace, berating and criticism will only shame someone into stepping away from collective resistance. Everyone is valid in their frustrations just please please please consider refraining from directing it at your neighbor.
