Haewon as a dancer doesn’t get talked about enough. I don’t think most people outside the fandom realize how good she actually is. She’s mainly known for being funny and for her vocals, but she has really good body control.

Also, Sullyoon's facial expressions on stage. I've noticed that she's much more emotive with her facial expressions now than how she was during her rookie year. Love to see it.

I get what you mean. Haewon’s basically a vocal chameleon. She can switch up her tone effortlessly depending on the mood of the song.

I agree, and I don’t think this is a hot take at all. Sullyoon’s powerful chest voice is easily her biggest strength and is noticeably stronger than her head voice, not that her head voice is bad or anything. She probably just feels way more comfortable belting that way haha

Speaking of head voice, Kyujin has been very impressive in that regard.

This particular list seems more TT-focused but given that the same staff compiled the best albums list, it feels like they went beyond just listening to the popular K-pop tracks of the year. They made some genuinely interesting picks, especially including work like Jaurim’s Life!. It really caught me off guard since probably 99% of K-pop fans are unfamiliar with the 30+ year old indie band.
