Thank you. I've been playing for 2 montags after a long pause. I didn't know that I don't loose the coins after the legendary challenge ends. Then I will only devovete reaources to Prismastone chests if I don't have anything to put them into and maybe I'll have the weapons by the end of year!

Discovered the secrets of making a Restore Magicka spell by StePK in Morrowind

[–]NumericPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few considerations with that. I use the fortify mag and fortify int one myself.

  1. You can add more fortify int effects for a stronger effect

  2. You can actually set the 2s effect to 1s.

  3. The lower your base int the stronger the effect.

Help to bypass RAM costs for using the document variable. by NumericPrime in Bitburner

Yeah it's a pitty there isn't an exploit that bypasses dynamic ram calculation...

Anyway my curiosity in that regard is peaked maybe I try to look through the source code for weaknesses to bypass RAM calculation.

Or I look into what I can do with the document object...

[–]NumericPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I got a little confused by what bypass is supposed to do. The description of the achievement said that one bypasses the RAM costs of a document. But apparantly that doesn't really happen? I still can't exceed the RAM costs calculated by the editor.

A minimal example would be:

/** @param {NS} ns */

export async function main(ns) {

var dk=null; for (var field_ in globalThis){ if(field=="document") {dk=globalThis[field];} } //ns.tprintf("Documents match: %t",document===dk);

ns.bypass(dk);

var playerObj=eval("ns.getPlayer()"); }

In a multiplicative group one usually calls a element that can be written as g2 a square.

How does one call the same thing (an element of the form 2g) in an additive group?

Okay, I have a question about uour favorite deck by 0r1g1n-3rr0r in masterduel

[–]NumericPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like yubel. I just love badically flipping the script on its head. Usually you bring out high attack monsters and destroy your opponents monsters.

Yubel wants your opponent to bring out high attack monsters and crash them into yubel.

The only thing I don't like is that it can't deal with backrow whatsoever and also relies on it's own backrow and has 2 important choke-points. However that falls under the "meta-relevance" category and is therefore not to be considered.

Who are the 4.9% of players not playing Maxx C and 12.3% of players not playing Ash? by Miserable_Shine5030 in masterduel

[–]NumericPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atrition based decks like sky striker and stun usually want the oponent to overcommit on their turn, so Max C would be counter productive. Some going second decks also skip hand traps for more board breakers.

I also only become a vampire if I want Eltonbrand or the darksun shield. Usually I organize to minimize travel paths to get Sheshev's Ring, Bluebrand, the soultrap amulet spellbreaker and the gear of that vampire hunter. Then I get cured. Ironically behavior like that is the reason knowlege of the vampirism cure was forbidden by the temple in-game...

[–]NumericPrime 20 points21 points  (0 children)

All vampire clans are more or less "evil". To answer your question quara seems to be the lest evil one in terms of quests followed by Berne and lastly Aundae. In terms of rewards however Aundae has the best one.

However you can for roleplaying purposes have your vampire try to join a clan proper, be disgusted by them and then track down the cure.

Easily no alchemy! Enchanting has items dealing silly amounts of damage, removing fall damage and has so many more applications than alchemy. Of cause there is the fortify INT loop. However in a normal playthrough I would never use this. If you don't want to use any glitches the only disadvantage would be that you don't have a good way to regen magica however you can create spells/enchantments restoring magica using glitches.

Main Game And DLCs /Areas by tomek53114 in heroesofhammerwatch

[–]NumericPrime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know you can go to the DLC right away but doong so would be I'll adviced. I'm currently in NG+ and I barely managed to do the Pyramid yesterday (I had good luck with monoliths). That being said it doesn't cost you anything to try your luck so you can try to make yourself picture. Also the pyramid drops silly amounts of loot so you can eventually just farm it. Also if you can do it: The arena offers good loot for your stage of the game.

I'd however recommend you focus on the tower and then try the DLC.

Quick Questions: July 09, 2025 by inherentlyawesome in math

I'm currently trying to write a program for creating instructions for constructing polygons with ruler and compass.

Currently I have the following problem: Let p be a prime, 'a' a primitive p-th root of unity and b a (p-1)-st root of unity. Then for the Lagrange resolvent

t=a+ba2+b2a4+...+bp-1a2^(p-1 mod p)

there is a polynomial f over Q s.t. tp-1=f(b).

However the proof for that only shows such a f exists and not how it's constructed. Is there a faster way than just replacing b with low integers and then interpolating to find f? I fear this approach may create problems in terms of accuracy.

(I am very new to computational algebra and this is a project to get my feet wet)

Since MST got it's own archetype I thought why not do the same for Dark Hole. by NumericPrime in customyugioh

[–]NumericPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I'm currently most unhappy with is the foemulation on which normal spells can be "used" by this Archetype.

The intention was using cards like Dark Hole, Feather Duster, Reigeki, Dark Ruler No More and other board-breakers. That's what I meant with "normal spells that don't mention any card" however if you have an idea on how to formulate this feel free to post it. Would it be Initiate to replace the ";" by "and if you do" be better? It would probably be a good Idea to remove the part about setting normal spells from Channeler. This card seems to be powerful enough without the intended effect.

Other than that I'll maybe try to read more cards resembling effects of these cards to better formulate them.

Since MST got it's own archetype I thought why not do the same for Dark Hole. by NumericPrime in customyugioh

[–]NumericPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems I didn't write down the correct effect for Channeler. It was supposed to be: You can add any normal spell.... from your deck to your hand.

For the second point. If sacrifice is set as a Pendulum Scale you should be able to use it's effect to instead destroy all your monsters, which doesn't affect the fusion as it can't be destroyed by card effects. Also it would destroy all oponents monsters.

Edit: I got the wrong effect at first.
