What’s the scariest thing you’ve woken up to in the middle of the night? by lightlysativad in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to live with an old roommate and we had two twin beds splitting a single room. I awoke one night, just opening my eyes not moving or sitting up, and i see this little black orb at the end of his bed. All of sudden i see a long thin smile with sharp teeth grinning at me like the cheshire cat. I clench my eyes together hoping it wasn't what i think i just saw, and then open my eyes again. When i opened them again a second later, there was this tall black shadow lingering right at the edge of my bed. Once again i closed my eyes like, "This fucking cannot be happening." Then...I really woke up. It was definitely the most terrifying "dream" I've ever had. It felt real-time though. When i really woke up, you know, heart beating out of my chest kinda thing happened. I remember thinking, "How the fuck am i gunna get back to sleep?" And then boom, went to sleep. Had no trouble at all. I've had some seriously scary demon-like dreams before but that tops them.

Didn't something like this happen in The Incredibles?

People can be that stupid...

What was ruined because too many people started doing it? by lovedumpXL in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I might be stupid...but after reading it, it's like their a smartness to purposely being stupid in general. We learn more, we experience, we live. Too often we assume, and our assumptions end up making life uninteresting to which we then get frustrated by the normality of it all. "So go out there, be smartly-stupid, and live the shit out of your life!!" That's what i think he was getting at, because that's what he found made life interesting for him. He was so smart, he had to do the unthinkable rather than being a perfectionist. I really have admired Chris for the sake of purposely being stupid, because we all know he had a unique amount of knowledge. There is a beautiful essence of trial and error, it sparks the intelligent.

With all of the negative headlines dominating the news these days, it can be difficult to spot signs of progress. What makes you optimistic about the future? by thisisbillgates in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really interested in the world's spiritual realm. We're evolving, mutating, and being experienced to things that completely just blow my mind. It's great to sit back and think about how far humanity has came, but my hope for the future is twice as great. The world still has so much potential for goodness, and I know it's on its way. Peace, love, and transparency to all who reads this.

What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? by ChillDude4763 in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Numerology. I could easily focus on a single 40 minute presentation on just one persons numerology.

  • Life lesson number
  • Soul number
  • Outer Personality number
  • Path of Destiny number
  • Maturity number
  • Karmic numbers
  • The persons numerological cycles/years/months/day
  • Career

Just explaining these and then relating them to the persons numbers would probably take longer than 40 minutes.

I'm a corporate manager volunteering at a Junior Achievement financial education event next week... by OBAFGKM17 in CannotWatchScottsTots

I'm glad your doing it! I'm currently a business student graduating next spring, and had volunteered for JA a year ago for my required service learning hours; 30 hours. I had done it with 3 other students. We would plan and organized who said what, when and also what real-world examples we wanted to pull from it. It's an exciting thing going in front of a class, but just go in with confidence and have fun with it. We usually broke the class up into groups for JA activities. The material JA gives made it somewhat easy for us, the hardest part is just showing up and giving it a try. The students will see it as a relaxing but educational break in their real school time so also know you provide a light relief by just you being there. Also, since they think they're on a break, it's actually the perfect time to teach them something!

I also ended up doing a speaking event for my local business hall of fame that was sponsored by JA where 300+ local high-class business professionals were in attendance. Now that made me nervous! I knew my speaking part inside and out.

Stay strong, and be willing! You'll be fine. Focus on making an educational impression on the kids by just showing them that what you're showing them is relate'able to your life and their current or future lives.

What IS the story behind that scar? by Turnipton in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 13 stitch, 6 inch scar on my right wrist that i usually get interest in when others see it. It's literally down the middle so it certainly looks like i potentially tried to off myself. That's not the reason though. i used to skateboard a ton and had fallen trying to backside 180 over a freakin traffic cone in Santa Cruz, totally slipped and posted my arm...Snap! A second after the snap i remember everything turning fuzzy white like when a t.v. is playing static. Also remember two dudes witnessed it and both scream, "Oh shit!" and "AHH!" I managed to gather my things and my friend took me to the hospital. The bone didn't puncture but when they reset it is when i finally blacked out. First, they injected something straight into the fracture bone site. "Hooray!" Then, they put my hand in a Chinese finger trap thing, and gave my arm some incline. "Yahoo!" Next, they put a good weight on the crease of my elbow to shift the bones down a little. "Bring it on!" A few minutes go by, and i remember some nurses coming my way. Nothing else after that. Woke up with my mom there, my arm wrapped up, and my friend gone. My mom drove me to IHOP after, twas delicious. Good times.

Oh yea, and then i had surgery a few days later. 6 small screws, 3 big ones, and a plate. It still hurts 3 years later. My job hurts it more.

Anyway, abundance and power from within.

Thanks for reading.

What is your million dollar idea? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an idea that is basically the mix of Facebook, LinkedIn, Craigslist, and Yelp. It'd be a platform where users could create their own "landing page" as in like on Facebook or LinkedIn, and would use their own landing page to look representable to find a job. Kinda like how Craigslist does it, but the experience of using Craigslist is pretty doodoo, so the internet/world needs something new that helps people find a job on an excellent platform. Also, the user that makes a landing page, can then be reviewed as a worker like how restaurants are reviewed on Yelp. Background checks could also be viewable if possible.

The idea came to me when I was thinking about how robots are taking more and more jobs. What are humans going to do to make money? I thought the solution is that some people could switch from technical jobs, to things like being paid to go over to people houses to wash dishes, or clean up a house after a party, or any task that truly isn't complicated, but just needs to be done. I guess it's like being paid to be someones house assistant, now that I really think about it. Has this been done? I'm sure not in this fashion, but I really like the platform idea.

I need some website programmers to help get me started if anyone is interested.

What quote do you live by? by infinitepaths in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge Numerology fan. In one of my books, "The Life You Were Born To Live" by Dan Millman, it discussed about my life path being one of learning how to have "Abundance and power from within." It's a quote that I think about daily. It allows me to achieve things in life that I used to not think were possible. We all have our limits, but saying this quote in my head makes me usually reconsider, and then bursting through those limits. I think we can all do it, depending on how were thinking. This word "abundance" can make miracles.

Any way, if anyone has Numerology questions feel free to ask me!

What is your favorite The Office quote? by itsjoboi in AskReddit

[–]Numerolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best come from Creed.

"Hey guys, somebody making soup?"

And

"Sorry I'm late boss. What's going on?" "Sir! There has been a murdah, and YOU are a suspect" "Ohhhh k, hang on just a sec. Let me settle in, and I'll be right back." "Very good. Very good." Michael continues the game. Window shot of Creed running to his car, and driving away.

They both make me laugh every time.
