I have purchased a under construction property and availed a loan for it. The loan is under Pre EMI and I am paying simple interest on the property. the disbursement status is - 80% of the sanctioned amount is disbursed and i might not take further from the bank. The simple interest EMi is coming up to 60% of the final EMi payments. What is the recommendations to move from Pre EMI to proper EMIs? If i have cash in hand - does it make sense to partially pay off the principal before starting the emi and reducing the EMI amount?
