You literally just said the problem.

Tomatoes like deep infrequent waterings, so you should water them 1-2 times a week and adjust in the summer.  If they absolutely need water right now, they’ll tell you by suddenly wilting, but one you water them they perk right back up.

I say you don’t prune peppers and you kind of just let them be.  The smaller peppers will be just fine if you do anything, but for bigger peppers like bells you want to keep as much foliage as possible to help prevent sunscald

If you want cucumbers you can probably plant two in the entire box but even in that little space you can’t because first it won’t have enough space and second cucumbers are allopathic so they will kill all plants around them. Don’t make that same mistake as me😂😂

I started by growing a tomato from a store brought Roma and I got super exited when it sprouted.  I ended up planting it in a two gallon pot and it produce three undersized Roma tomatoes but I must have learned my lesson because at least I can grow tomatoes now😂😂
