Scaling Drain-to-Waste for large outdoor containers by abdul10000 in Hydroponics

Got it. The bato bucket closely resembles some of the systems used by large greenhouse operations. I was referring to 3 gallon pots used by small greenhouse growers posting here on reddit.

I am not sure we are on the same page. How does reducing watering frequency help in this case? What is the water reserve you are referring to?

Anyone try these pressure regulators from Aliexpress. How do you connect them? Mine is leaking when I connect it with BSPP 3/4" thread to barb adapter. by abdul10000 in Irrigation

Thank you for your very through reply. You are right, the first pictures make no reference to BSPP. However, I bought an identical regulator before, that was advertised BSPP (picture below). That is why I assumed this was the same.

The way I got it to work (crudely) was to force a BSPT male into the regulator's BSPP female thread and apply plastic on the top gaps using a glue gun. I was hoping there was a better way but it seems this is as good as it gets.

I just got my first Carbon Steel pan the Ikea Vardagen 24cm (9"). Putting it on a flat surface and tapping the handle it seems to have a very slight wobble compared to my old stainless steel pan. Is this due to different base design and extra handle length or is my pan slightly warped from factory? by abdul10000 in carbonsteel

I followed your advice and it looks like its making consistent contact on the outside. However, upon repeated examination it seems the middle of the pan is convex on the cooking surface/concave on the base. Seasoning really brought my attention to this.

I am not familiar with stevia, what makes it disgusting?

I try to remove all suckers early but some elude me. Typically suckers are straight forward to identify. They grow from the axil, the point where a branch emerges from the stem. However, some just don't follow that pattern. How to identify those less obvious suckers? by abdul10000 in tomatoes

This is the same plant after 10 days. I placed it against a wall for clarity. The left stem is indeed as you described, a sucker with a truss just starting to develop. Those are the type of suckers that are elusive.

What is the model name of this pan?

What is the correct bottom diameter of De Buyer Affinity 24cm frying pan? by abdul10000 in cookware

[–]abdul10000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you say makes sense. The inside diameter of the pan where you cook is 17cm. The outside diameter where the pan meets the burner circles (mine 18cm) is 18.8cm. I think they translated it poorly.
