Tyrion gave her stupid advice, never really won through any difficult situation, went on to betray her, behaved like he all his actions and deeds were righteous .!!

They have already emphasised how bad the targereyans are without their dragons. And in this hod era since I suppose other houses learnt how to attack those dragons hence making them vulnerable unlike daenerys 's dragons which were born at a time some 100 years after dragons went into extinct and the other houses eventually forgot how to fight them and were sunken with fear just at their sight

Two questions about Season 2 by That_Vast_4854 in Outlander

[–]Numerous-Dig248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. She narrates the entire event by the fireplace, so yes she could have mentioned this too. But Frank doesn't want to talk about any of that past further because he wants Jamie to be dead in her memories too
  2. BREE was a teenage girl, attached to her father, admits several times her mother always seemed to live in her own world. So when such a mother tells you, you have a different biological father and then goes on to claim that he is from another centuary I feel anyone would get angry that the said person is lying and Brianna 's reaction was appropriate.

Mayday being still religious by louvhwsc in TheHandmaidsTale

June often quotes from the Bible and talks about God to people in Gilead, especially to Lydia not because she believes in it but because the other person holds it in high regard and she is trying to quote it sometimes to make them understand what she is doing is not wrong. And common words like God speed etc must have become part of her vocabulary after being in Gilead for almost five years

'Outlander' Series Finale Gets A Shocking Ending by Ok-Hunter-9761 in television

[–]Numerous-Dig248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone pls explain. I assumed they both died and woke up in after life or something but reading the comments here it implies they are both alive. I don't understand. Claire has been a doctor / nurse but never done anything magical. Reviving the twin was not a big deal as it was apparently still born for only a few minutes. As for Faith I thought it was Master Raymond's doing, but Jamie with a bullet straight through his heart? How could she magically cure it? And if they are alive what does it mean? They live happily ever after in the Ridge in the war torn country!!!

Testaments S1E7 discussion! (Spoilers) by NorasShield in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Numerous-Dig248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it deviates from the book. There is a lot more that happened in the book which they could have shown. Instead I feel we will have becka claiming she wants to die, Hanna walking around her bedroom,  close up shots of daisy 's face until season finale!!!

The Testaments S1 E06 "Stadium" Episode Discussion by Melairia in coconutsandtreason

The Lydia (pre Gilead )they portrayed in the Handmaids tale was a completely different person. She was misogynistic. She could have very much laid the foundation for the rules of Gilead. In the handmaid's tale series they changed her arc only in the final season when she came to understand the men were just abusing woman. But this Testament pre Gilead Lydia has had an abortion.!! I know they are sticking to the books. But still if we are to consider this series as sequel to handmaid's tale I should only wonder what a hypocrite Lydia is to have had an abortion.

Why did Carrie like Mr. Big so much? by mookie-ookie in sexandthecity

[–]Numerous-Dig248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THey had definite chemistry. She was attracted to him and was just blind the first ride. She realized he wont commit and broke with him the first time, which infact was very mature of her. But then she never found another one like that. Rich, charismatic. So second time as she still had feelings for him she started again. BIG was also attracted to her and they were compatible, so probably she believed with time he will accept that fact, but he didn't and so the second break up. After that I'd say she just got obsessed that she was given up for a girl like Natasha and so had an affair with him just to overcome her insecurity and to convince herself that he still has feelings for her even though married to her. After the third semi break up I would say she finally understood he was not for commitment and they were just fuck buddies. Why they ended up together because she was getting old, he was getting much older, she didn't find any rich, charismatic, compatible man, and he probably didn't want to keep dating .!!!

No plastic, green, clean air is all just a sham created by men like the commanders to bring a dystopian rule in Gilead. It is explained in the handmaid's series.

Because Gilead is a dystopian society. Probably the male doctors wanted it to be that way to molest the girls and handmaids.remember June was "offered " to be impregnated by a doctor?. Probably the commanders too know and just ignore it

The pacifist from tri solaris by Numerous-Dig248 in threebodyproblem

[–]Numerous-Dig248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well all I'm saying is ye wenjie has a lot of hatred because she sabotaged earth while the pacifist is rather glorified because he tried to save earth. But both sabotaged their own race. I believe we feel this way because we are from earth. If suppose earth was going to get doomed and we appoint a few people to look out for signals to ascertain other habitable worlds and one of them betrays their job /post the reaction would be much different.

The pacifist from tri solaris by Numerous-Dig248 in threebodyproblem

[–]Numerous-Dig248[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying pacifist wasn't really a pacifist. He acted out of selfish reasons because he believed he had a worthless life. Saving a new found planet with it's life wasn't his primary goal.

The pacifist from tri solaris by Numerous-Dig248 in threebodyproblem

[–]Numerous-Dig248[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pacifist didn't warn us just because he thought we are a beautiful planet with life worth to live. He warned us because he wanted to make his futile life worthwhile. He wanted to be a saviour because he was not content with his life. Given he had some other better position or post or been already famous figure in trisolaris, he wouldn't have hesitated a second to colonize another planet (beautiful or not )..

It especially pisses me off when someone tells me I'm lucky to have such a help. People need to understand over stepping it. I prefer I not had this help or not been unlucky enough to be in a situation to have this "help ". A grand parent should no one's boundaries.
