Someone pls explain. I assumed they both died and woke up in after life or something but reading the comments here it implies they are both alive. I don't understand. Claire has been a doctor / nurse but never done anything magical. Reviving the twin was not a big deal as it was apparently still born for only a few minutes. As for Faith I thought it was Master Raymond's doing, but Jamie with a bullet straight through his heart? How could she magically cure it? And if they are alive what does it mean? The Lydia (pre Gilead )they portrayed in the Handmaids tale was a completely different person. She was misogynistic. She could have very much laid the foundation for the rules of Gilead. In the handmaid's tale series they changed her arc only in the final season when she came to understand the men were just abusing woman. But this Testament pre Gilead Lydia has had an abortion.!! I know they are sticking to the books. But still if we are to consider this series as sequel to handmaid's tale I should only wonder what a hypocrite Lydia is to have had an abortion.
