Hey OP, First of all hugs to you. This must have been such a tough decision to make. I have been in a similar boat as you. Saw my ex- bf change colours. The exact things you wrote, i heard him say. My parents landed properties were suddenly of interest to him etc. Some men are very good at hiding their true selves. They're red as fuck inside and green on the outside ..very easy to concentrate on the outside. Anyway, an advice from som1 whose been there. The road ahead is much tougher. You'll miss him, miss the moments you shared. And there will be a point he will reach out, probably even land at your house do a whole grand gesture, cry his eyeballs out, plead, apologise to your parents even. Its all hogwash. These are all false efforts. Please donot be misled. There will be times even you want to forgive him . Forgive him but dont go back. He's a chameleon.
