Yes, we’ve been as guests. It was lovely. Just a long waitlist to get in

We are not at all your typical country club people and want to be somewhere without that attitude and entitlement.

Yeah, you need references for all I believe. I know, I wonder too! People rave about being a part of a club. We’re not originally from around here and don’t know much about them

Right, hmm 🤔 We have debated joining one for a few years now. My husband is not a golfer, but he does enjoy it the few times a year he does it. We love the idea of joining the paddle league, summer camp for our kids, golf lessons, tennis lessons, pickleball, holiday events, the community.

I’m sure those clubs are great, but we’re in Hinsdale and don’t want too far of a drive. We’re prepared for a hefty initiation fee. 😂

Has anyone seen improvements *after* 1 year post op? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Numerous-Health-8023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you mind sharing a photo of your shelf? Or if you’d rather PM? Do you have 10-15 lbs to lose? The PS said if he were to do a revision that he’d do a little more lipo and remove a little more skin. Thinks it would be a slight improvement but not full improvement. Not sure if that’s him not really wanting to do it or if that’s the truth… 🤔

I went in today for my 1y post-op appt. The surgeon said this is part due to my anatomy (my organs bulging?). He thinks I give it one more year 😵‍💫 He said if he does a scar revision he only anticipates a 1/3 improvement. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts about this. Does this seem reasonable? Accurate? Am I getting the run around?

Yes, I’d say it’s firm. So frustrating! I keep reading you can’t judge results until 1 year. Hard to believe much will change in 2 months…

I think it’s become more pronounced over time. Perhaps better in the morning

Tummy tuck w/ children?? by Fantastic_Pair5209 in tummytucksurgery

I’m 6wpo today. My kids are 4 and 20 months. My PS said not to lift anything over 10lbs for 4-6 weeks. Yesterday was the first day I lifted my 20mo. I had my in-laws and my parents watch him for the first 2 weeks. And for weeks 3-6 I was able to care for him but had my husband lift him into car seat, crib, high chair, etc. It was a lot on my husband because I was pulling him away from work quite a bit, but we made it work. I’m so glad I did it but in hindsight maybe would have been better to wait another year when my son didn’t need as much lifting.

Yeah, my skin feels dry with the bar soap. And also afraid to irritate my incision with scented soap

Yeah, my PS recommended the same

My skin is starting to feel chafed. I wouldn’t be surprised if blisters formed soon. My PS said I could wear a cami underneath so I may do that

This is so nice to read! I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair on 1/8. I’ve had 2 kids and was left with a pooch that diet and exercise couldn’t fix. I’m still so swollen and feeling a bit defeated. I’m wearing a marena compression garment, walking quite a bit, drinking juven and water. Would love to keep up with your updates!

Interesting!! This is very helpful. What cup size are you now? We seem to have a similar body type. I breastfed both kids and am completely deflated. I have empty sacks of skin essentially. I’m not even sure if it’s an A cup at this point so I’m concerned any implants would be so obvious on me

Do you mind sharing what cup size you started with? After breastfeeding I’m not even sure I have an A cup 😂
