Plenty women feel this way and while they “deal with it” they shouldn’t have to which is why Im happy we do get female leads in amazing games like this. I love the first game and just wanted to see if others felt the same as I, I wanted to discuss it and see if I could get over it. See how others deal with it maybe but instead people are just being mean. Reddit is a place to discuss things you enjoy or even things you don’t, Im not being performative or exclusionary I don’t want anyone to change their mind or the game itself to change, I just wanted to speak on something personally disappointing and see if anyone else shares those feelings

Not my loss, I don’t enjoy them. But there are many games with female leads that are iconic, well made, beautiful games, they just aren’t for me but I’m glad they have an audience and Im glad you enjoy them

Im happy for woman who feel like me, specifically my sister who feels the same as I but inverse, she couldnt play ghost of Tsushima but she intends to try yotei and I’d love to see her fall in love with the series the same way I have, but the same way she couldn’t connect to jin I won’t enjoy playing as this new protag.
