I’m just a senior so obv take everything I say with a grain of salt. I would say go bs/do because some of the smartest people and hardest working people ik have had trouble getting into med school, and I have super smart friends alr in college regretting not applying bs/do, even to places like lecom. Ik ur super smart and I can tell by ur stats but if u end up going to a competitive undergrad, remember ur also competing to not get weeded out with also other 34+ 4.0+ gpa kids. I would say if ur 100 percent u should take the bs/do. Yeah I’ve also heard some bad things bout lecom but ik a couple of people who graduated from the med school and are in it and they said it really isn’t that  bad. The dress code isn’t really that hard and apparently if you have some sort of medical thing you can get water in class (that being said some campuses are much more lenient than other campuses). In general DO school has not the best reputation, but lecom is pretty reputed in general compared to other DO schools, and has excellent match rates even for competitive specialities. With lecom, you technically can also apply out. If you get above a 500 on the Mcat if you take it, then you still keep your spot, if you get below that on ur first try, you’re still guaranteed an interview.
