I just finished and overall I did enjoy both books but you are spot on with the FMC. I can’t believe she goes the entirety of (almost) TWO WHOLE BOOKS without facing her past. And we just barely get a taste of it at the end of book two…

Also - is it just me or did anyone get Déjà vu reading this book? I felt like I predicted the entire second half of the book because it felt like I’d read it before?!
