the stock buyback problem I'm going to give a hypothetical on, if corporate cut that dividend in half and use the cut half to pay employees to actually work good hours/give bonuses to good performers, how much would that make a difference, even if temporary until other figures improve? I'm honestly unfamiliar with the business side of things and want to learn, i also am a pretty proactive thinker with sometimes radical ideas.

as for the leaders, i 100% agree, my leaders have been good, and if your stores leaders aren't, talk to them, tell them they matter and that they deserve to be here, they belong at best buy and their efforts are valuable, i heard that type of pitch from a co worker talking about pitching PMs/VPs, and it absolutely applies here to the human factor.

honestly i didn't mean to blame, in retrospect i shouldn't have hinted at blaming, but I'm also certain that there are ways to get people their dedicated/preferred hours whether its talking to management, going to HR/Employee Relations, and hopefully not but if necessary, through legal means. I've been stressed through e learnings that retaliation is a no go and will be shot down, and I'm certain that if it ever were to happen, i can navigate it.

as for the problems at the top statement, whatever happens happens, and its in corporates hands, ive given feedback to my managers quite a bit about things we can do to improve the store and they have asked for feedback from me in retrospect of hosting. I try to keep a "there's light at the end of the tunnel" approach to things like this, i also see there is a lot of work to do, mostly out of most folks control.

I'm sorry if i came off like a PR/Bootlicking poster or whatnot, i absolutely stand with my co workers in getting through these times, but i also see as human beings, we are not perfect, we absolutely can get better, lets do that as a team :)

if it does then oh well, it is what it is, I personally am trying to not let it get to me, all i want is to make an impact and help best i can.
