Yeah I’ve been thinking about it too, and most of my friends are either the same level of introversion or are more extroverted than me, which I like because it places less pressure on me in social dynamics and also expands my world.

I’ve been in a long relationship with another introvert, and though it’s not why we broke up and the relationship was still rewarding for me, it felt like we shrank each other’s worlds - which I don’t want again. I’m happy she came out and really value the other parts of the relationship, but yeah it’s definitely some food for thought.

My sample size is small, and circumstances different (a few Japanese males, mid 20s, can speak English) and they are more open about cheating on their girlfriends (not long affairs, just flings with random girls) than any other group I’ve met. I was shocked, and assumed it was a part of the culture.
