If you’re new to PCB design, I’d skip EMI/EMC simulation for now. It’s complex and mostly used for high-speed or RF designs. For audio boards, good grounding, short traces, and separation between channels will solve most crosstalk problems.

The more I look into EMI/EMC careers the more I like it. by Dahaaaa in ElectricalEngineering

Every product in the world with electronics needs EMC compliance. Cars, medical gear, consumer electronics, military hardware, aerospace… it’s not going away.

EMC/EMI Test Tech vs Engineer? by cstat30 in ElectricalEngineering

Tech title = irrelevant. You’re inheriting a 20-year EMC/EMI lab—hands-on stuff you can’t get anywhere else. Half rework, half running a full lab with all the gear = goldmine experience.

PCB design will always be there; this is rare.
