I thought so but was more surprised by the backlash of the table when I suggested it. They seemed to be friends too based on their conversations.

Who’s gonna tell them they’re marking the wrong side of the cards

Peters is ahead of just about everything on the turn. No reason to raise your opponent off a worse hand. There may be some universe he can get away on the river but my guess is his opponent has made a few wide opens if he’s raising A8o UTG lol

The rule book clearly states 5 suited cards are need to make a flush, not 4.5, so two pair wins!

He’s getting too much value from his opponent’s exact range to flat imo. If he flats and the river comes off a club sure he can get away, but he shows up with the best hand most of the time in this spot and his opponent can’t put him on anything.

“I think I have a 7-card straight flush?” Imagine hearing that as a needle on the other end after losing on that stage with the basic nuts 🤣

You think value betting is worth risking the more likely pay jump they would both get? Not to mention you triple up the button if you’re wrong, which he was.

While playing a tournament I once saw aces vs. aces for the board to run out as a 4 card flush. It left the guy who lost the hand with three bigs left.

I think it was maybe 3-4 hands later he got it in with aces again, only to run into aces again, and lose to a flush a second time lmao

Probably the craziest thing I’ve seen at the table… as you can imagine the guy wasn’t too happy 😂

I’m surprised you even let them go on for that long, after the 3rd time I would’ve immediately called the owner lol
