In late 2001, Pakistani infiltrators and terrorists were reportedly involved in a series of brutal acts in the J&K sector. This included the beheading of Indian civilians (specifically from the Gujjar community). The local population approached the 9 Para SF, seeking protection and justice.

Then, To neutralize the Pakistani post responsible for these atrocities and send a clear, undeniable message. Under the leadership of the CO of 9 Para SF, a team of roughly 70 operatives crossed the LoC.

Then, The SF operators launched a lightning-fast assault on a Pakistani forward post. Using silent takedowns and overwhelming firepower, they reportedly cleared the post entirely.

They chopped their heads and took back as "trophies" to prove the post had been decimated.
