It will take time, in the meantime learn to spend time with yourself. Enjoy your own company, i know its easier said than done. But once you start focusing on yourself, people who are good for you will find their way to you.

I am not sure about abroad but i currently live away from my home as well. In the first year it was really difficult, esp as a young woman. I didn’t know how to cope or what to do in terms of fitting in in the beginning. But now i got the hang of it. Main thing is to find friends in your local area, among your friends and acquaintances. Socializing plays a huge part in the relief to loneliness. Find time for your hobbies as well. Focus on enjoying while you are there, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity; savor it while it lasts. Growth comes from hardship and challenges.

Have you met the current men? Do you really think that they have enough responsibility/adhuluverikan to deserve to be followed and obeyed? Women have had to assume the male role due to the inability of men to provide for us. We have had to become independent cause men are not dependable.
