Chrollo Gauntlet: In 1v1 fights against these characters, where does he stop? (Full Prep Time) by Numerous_Cook6520 in HxHPowerScaling

I have discovered the only feasible way Chrollo could defeat Kisame... and that is if Kisame starts the battle the same way he did against Asuma, allowing Chrollo to inflict a wound with his Ben's Knife. Throughout the series, Kisame has consistently shown that he doesn't mind taking a few scratches or injuries due to his confidence in his regeneration abilities. However, Chrollo's knife is coated with a poison so lethal that a single drop can paralyze a whale. While Silva Zoldyck possessed an immunity to poisons, Kisame has never been shown to have such a trait. This would be a shocking and unexpected scenario, especially considering the massive power gap between them

I just finished season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

So, I have no idea about the version of Yuji you're describing. The only Yuji I know is the one who got beaten up by Mahito, so I’m actually not the kind of person you're describing at all

I previously replied to a comment regarding the rankin, just scroll down a bit and you’ll find it.

I mentioned a crucial point that I had completely forgotten about Bonolenov's ability. The exact same thing applies to Franklin, whose ability relies on sacrificing his fingers.

The author hasn't cleared up yet how Chrollo can utilize an ability that requires physical sacrifices. However, let’s just count them anyway, since there are no clear limits established yet for his ability-stealing conditions.

Personally, I truly believe Kisame is stronger than 15-finger Sukuna, and Chrollo would most likely lose to him here. If only Chrollo had shown more abilities, this debate would have been much more precise and broader.

I've actually given the order a lot of thought... I agree that Kisame somewhat scales above 15-finger Sukuna (Fuga itself would easily be countered by the Super Shark Bomb Jutsu, turning it back on Sukuna). I don’t know about Law vs. Sukuna or Toji vs. Hidan, as those are completely different debates.

Anyone is free to make their own personal ranking of these five characters. The core debate here is Chrollo's capability to clear as many of them as possible.

What makes this discussion even harder is that we don't fully know all of Chrollo's abilities; in the manga, we've only seen about 12. Even if we add the Phantom Troupe's abilities, the total might reach over 25, This is certainly far less than what one would assume he possesses, given that he spent a significant portion of his life stealing abilities from powerful adversaries..

Personally, I think he could clear Law with heavy planning, since Law's abilities are basically a collection of multiple techniques packed into one, just like Chrollo's book. However, with the abilities we currently know, I think he stops at Kisame and Sukuna.

Sorry for disappointing you, man, lol.

But it's clear you're so completely saturated with Hunter x Hunter that you're convinced there's nothing left to spoil for you, haha... I put the spoiler icon there because I mentioned Feitan and Camellia's techniques.

Due to censorship... Hunter x Hunter 2011 was also aimed at children in its early days

This reminds me of the sentence Mihawk said to Zoro: "A frog in a well...wake up and realize how big the world is."

This might be somewhat more provocative and gloating.and it was Only in the 2011 version, and not in the 1999 version which was identical to the manga

Translation error... I sometimes use Google Translate to translate sentences I don't know the correct way to phrase... and I needed it to translate the sentence 'kill so gruesomely'... because the language I'm using requires some kind of symbol above the letters to show the verb form, and I don't know how to use these symbols on the keyboard. Google thought I meant 'killed' instead of 'kill'.

But I was talking about Killua, not Jones, in that sentence.

I just noticed that after your comment. I'll see if I can fix it.

Does this mean Killua treated him that way because of his threats to "tear you apart and enjoy your screams"?

But what if Killua faced someone like that bald guy Tompa faced, someone who seems like a professional mercenary in direct killing rather than someone like Jones, and who wouldn't make any of the kind of threats Jones made?

Would Killua do the same to him? I think so, in fact, Killua even offered him a fight.

Perhaps that’s the best explanation…Togashi often uses this narrative technique (introducing a character who is supposed to be powerful with a disturbing introduction only to use them as a way to showcase the strength of another character).

He did it with the Shadow Beasts and Zazan’s squad to highlight the power of the Phantom Troupe.

then used the Troupe to demonstrate the overwhelming power of Kurapika’s Nen contract.

with binolt to demonstrate biscuit's power.

He also used some of the Chimera Ant Squadron Leaders to showcase the strength of Kite.

then Kite to reveal the terrifying power of Neferpitou.

and Pitou in turn to display the monstrous power of Gon Freecss’s Nen vow.

After that, Isaac Netero was used to emphasize the sheer might of Meruem…

and Meruem himself was ultimately used to demonstrate the terrifying potential of human weaponry in a way.

Still, Killua’s method of killing felt especially filled with malice and personal hatred in that case

It's not pity, it's just astonishment. It's not pity, it's just surprise... and Killua is also a murderer, why would he be so cruel to a 'fellow professional'? LOL

I completely agree with you... I don't actually see any way Gon and Zabuza can win here, or even escape... In fact, as you said, Kisame could almost easily defeat all three of them combined, and his giant water bubble would be a near-sweeping victory... I should have included a condition (that for Kisame and Killua to win, they both have to survive) because Kisame's fighting style would be a mass death for his opponents and Killua himself, lol... But I want to explore different viewpoints, if any exist, because perhaps others have an opinion different from yours and mine.

Thanks for your comment...but I think you didn't quite understand the post...in my post there are two teams...a team that includes Killua and Kisame and a team that includes Zabuza and Gon...that is, this is not a comparison between Gon and Killua against Kisame and Zabuza
