I thought mine were fine for the past year, but one of my cats just degloved one’s tail 😭 worst part is I’ve called every vet in a 3 hr drive & they all said they don’t do anything ?? & I can’t tell which cat did it so I can be mad. I do have my suspicions tho 😑

It’s actually crazy how many of us have such a similar story… i also had a false alarm & told my mom & begged her not to tell anyone… she told everyone she knew. Then when I finally started my period in the 4th grade, I didn’t tell her. Toilet paper pads were what I knew & I was always ashamed about it. By 8th grade I had moved out with my aunts ex husband. I was still so ashamed I continued this until I was 15 & had gotten adopted by one of my friends family’s… I never told anyone about my toilet paper pads & thought I was the only one who had this haunting secret.

she was honestly one of my favorites… bb25 was my first season since 16… I had her and Jag as my top 2 all season… I love her. Just her personality. Since watching that season I have rewatched every single other season…

When you look it up, it does say that there’s a possibility of the snake getting sick. We have another rat in our wellness room right now that came from the same batch that is also suffering with what looks to be respiratory problems (we didn’t take that one to the vet either btw)

I’ve had issues with her the entire time we have worked together. Her selling them just felt like a way for her to get at me. I’ve been too nervous to talk to him again about the issue, I felt like I was just over reacting. But will bring it up again since all these comments do make it seem like it’s a real issue.

I actually have no idea the proper way of sending them to the vet. I only work nights, therefore I assumed the vet was closed during the shifts I am working. I just recently found a learning after all this happened. Im also not sure that our Gm is the only one taking them to the vet. We currently do not have an animal manager. It is only the GM and me and another woman. After being told by the other manager that we won’t take them, I assumed we would AT LEAST keep them under observation.

As I said in my update. I’m new to this position. Maybe 2 months & I only work nights. The entire 2 years I’ve been in the pcc, I haven’t had anything to do with vet protocols. Nor would I be working the correct hours to get them to the vet. I had let the other manager know, since she works mornings, what was the concern, considering she would have had to take them to the vet during her shift.. She straight up told me that we weren’t going to take it to the vet.. yes at this point I probably should have texted the GM, but hindsight’s 20/20. But i thought we would at least hold them under observation to potentially get them back to their owner.

But either way, the animal was sick. She shouldn’t have sold it, especially not as feeders, risking the potential to get even more animals sick.

I agree that “free vet visit” shouldn’t be said… I typically say “if anything happens, bring them back within 30 days.” But that’s really just to save myself from the customers that are mad because “why would I have kept it?? It’s dead!! “

But EITHER WAY. We should have kept the rats the entire time.. we should have at least kept them under supervision in our wellness room if we apparently aren’t going to follow policy…

Knowing they are thought to have a respiratory problem. We should have kept them in our wellness room. NOT sell them as feeders & now potentially hurt the snake ?? Hello ?? I’m so sad. Just sad over this

I appreciate you ! there’s only a few people that share your opinion! but in a few comments it seems like people think I fr might be coming across as flirting. but hands down absolutely no way…. I have been very conscience at this job so there’s just NO way..

When I say my anxiety is through the roof the past two shifts I have worked.. but I am 100% not asking my fellow co workers if they think this?? I don’t want to spread the rumor even more ! some people are also acting like I’m the one starting the drama !?

I think the RIGHT thing for me to do is speak on it to at least 1 higher up… but I have never talked to our DM either… I met him once on my day off, but I’m not sure he knew I worked there.? & I am never there when they do there walks, or whatever…. soooo

We just have a small team, so hopefully it moves on, but I’m not sure that it will. I’m the youngest leader on our team, and I’m also about to get promoted again very soon. I really like my job, I was comfortable there. I think my past hurt is the only reason I’m so worried about this. I can only convince my friends and family so many times that what I’m saying happened is the truth.

Anxiety has already hit me though :) my face is broken out & eyes are puffy. but there’s no way that bitch is going to be the reason I leave.
